A week ago Saturday I brought my car to the service department at Ray Laks Acura in to have a leak in the transmission fluid looked at. The service manager was surly, and downright hostile, when I asked to just put the car up on the lift so I could take a look at it. After much heated discussion he agreed to let me take a look, without charge. The tech (who was very knowledgeable and helpful) showed me the leak in the lines from the tranny to the radiator. I was told I needed my lines replaced and I agreed and I was quoted two hours plus parts. This took all of 5 minutes. Based on my favorable interaction with the tech, (Frank) I made an appointment for service with Ray Laks Acura. I arrived promptly at the dealership this morning (9/23) and was handed a service agreement. It included a $54 diagnostic charge, plus the quoted service. I informed the Service Manager that we had already done this. His response was “you screwed me last Saturday”, so this charge is being applied. Needless to say, I took my Acura and my future business elsewhere. more

I will never, ever take my car to another place to be worked on. I will never, ever buy a car that is not Acura. I will never, ever experience from another dealership the highest degree of customer service that the Ray Laks team extends to me at all times. Quite simply: you are the best!! more

Had terrible issues with my Acura at another shop. Called Ray Laks ACURA, asked to speak to the Service Manager. Jim is an amazing man to deal with. He listens to the customers problems, and comes up with a solution, keeping the customer in the loop at all times. He is always available, and never rude or discourteous. He talked to me like a person, not a woman knowing nothing about her SUV. I was hesitant because I used to go there regularly and had so many problems that I switched over. LOVE it, LOVE the whole staff there, and the free car wash I get at the end of the service! more

Excellet Service Department - I own an 03 Acura MDX, and a Honda which I both service with them. Sean Kelly is the Asst Sales mgr. He's excelleent Mark is the Mgr. also very good. I've really appreciated how great these guys are at getting our apts in around our schedules. And I've had so many problems with other service departments trying to make up bogus charges and things which need to be fixed. So now I bring both our cars into Ray Laks. I find the Mgrs both very professional polite and accommodating. The service guys I've talked with have all been very knowledgable. And they wash your car after every service which is always a nice touch. plus every sat you can get a free carwash.. nice touch... more

They were really courteous. I could ask whatever I wanted to ask about the vehicle. If I asked them to check something out that might seem silly to someone else, they would always do that. more
