Avoid, Avoid, Avoid 4/14/2011

This is actually a waterpark NOT for small children (1 to 6 Years). All the rides are for adults and the kids have no fun. We had came on a Tuesday to beat the rush, and there was a small wait. When we came home we had a great day. The price is very expensive and they eased this with apperently a "Buy One Admission, Get One Free", or so the lady said. We came back and the lady tells us our total was $88 Something. WHAT?!?!? Then she became VERY rude and told us that the coupon entiles you to pay 2 admission and then get one free. (Yeah in fine print). So, we asked the lady to speak with a manager. She got mad and threw a fit, but then the manager came. She said that it is printed on the coupon and that we did not correctly undersatand the orignal employee. YEAH RIGHT! Five of us heard "Since you paid full price you can come back for free". The manager was VERY rude to us and was not giving up that it was our fault and we should have known better. We walked away. She asked us if we wanted our coupons back. HELLO? You just treated us very rudly and you expect us to come back?We came backto the parking area (Have you note it was $10 to park). We went out and we demanded our money back. The guy was actually very resonable and we actually did apoligize for their rude behavior and gave us our money back. Overall we wasted our time and money over something not even worth thinking about. more

Great day for fun...little pricey 6/21/2010

We have always had fun here though I wish it cost a little less. Eat before you go so they won't be too hungry. Plan on a locker ($), parking ($), ice cream ($)...you get the idea. If you're local, they have a great deal after 4:00 but you are risking the afternoon showers. If you are there when it rains, wait it out...everyone leaves! I bring a book and read while waiting for the all clear. more

Bad Weather 7/17/2009

Got to the park around noon. Paid $10 for parking and another $35 for a park ticket. Waited in line for about an hour then when I got to the front of the line the park shut down due to thunder storms in the area. No refunds offered. What a complete waste of money. This park can suck my balls. more

FUN!!! 9/10/2008

This is the best thing to do in the summer in South Florida. Its a little expensive (Like $45 for the day) but worth it! I love this place! I could just float around all day in the lazy river... and the water slides are AWESOME! Theyre always adding new slides every year and its getting better and better. Definitely Fun for the whole Family. more

This water park has a lot to keep you busy. 8/22/2006

Perfect for all ages. They have many different things to break up the day. The wave pool is perfect for the person who doesn't like long lines but even the lines go rather quickly. They have great choices in regard to "food" and also ice cream. I thought the web site was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions before we headed there. more

great for the whole family 6/21/2006

i take my kids there every year. i think i get more enjoyment out of it then they do. the price is a little exspensive but its worth it. more

major fun 9/23/2005

We went twice this summer and both times were awesome! The lines were not terrible and the areas weren't too overcrowded, though we may have gone on off-peak times. I've heard that the filtration system at Rapids surpasses that of any around-- including any of the Disney parks. I am a good swimmer, but I'm glad to see that there are so many lifeguards posted around the park. more

Fun for the whole family 8/21/2005

I haven't been here in over 6 years. I went there last weekend and boy has it improved! There's so many more slides! This place has 17 different waterslides, a big wave pool, a lazy river and a kiddie area. They also have a couple snack bars, picnic tables, tons of loungers and lockers to keep your valuables. Oh and a mini golf course, but I didn't bother with that. The price seems a little high, but you won't be able to get into a Disney waterpark for that price. Plus, they often have coupons for discounts (check website to find out where to get the discount). Parking is an additional $5 per vehicle. more

Fun for the whole family 8/10/2005

This is a great water park. It has several big slides as well as a lazy river, wave pool and an area designated for the wee ones. Something for all age and fear levels! I like that they offer a locker (small fee) so you don't have to tote around all your belongings and you know it will be in a safe spot They two full service snack bars that offer plenty to eat and drink, including chicken, pizza, hot dogs, nachos, sodas and more. And, in case you forgot to pack sunscreen, they also sell that at the snack bars. There's also an ice cream parlour and a sno-cone stand. It's a little on the pricey side for me since we have two under 2 years old and both non-swimmers so we're limited to the kiddie area, but for a once a year trip, it's fun. If you have older children or are a big kid yourself, you will have a great time and it will be worth the money spent. ($28/person 2 years and under FREE + $5 per vehicle for parking) more

Great local water park 8/8/2005

Opens around spring break and stays open until October (week ends only after school's in session). This place is a little pricey (about $25 per person), but totally worth it if you've got kids and they LOVE the water! They have a lazy river and an abundance of open and covered water slides for all comfort levels. They also have a little toddler area, but sometimes older kids jump in before the lifeguard catches them. more
