Randall's Refrigeration A/C was part of our new home build package. As such they were our first choice to contact for repairs. When our 1 1/2 year unit froze over we called them and they charged us for coming out. The technician did not fix anything as I had already taped over the leak and I was told that this was the right corrective action. He checked the refrigeration fluid and all seemed good. So far we were happy customers. Unfortunately the unit froze over again 2 month later and we called them again. After checking the unit the technician established that the unit was dinged up and the seals were not holding. The unit was still pulling air our of the attic from the side and the bottom which was not taped. The technician did not do anything and I was asked to pay the service charge again. When I talked to the service manager he was extremely conceding and unfriendly. I have never been talked down to like this before by someone in the service industry. We agreed that the technician would take pictures and he would get back to me immediately. After talking to the service manager I reluctantly paid the second fee in promise that I would get a credit for the repair of the unit. This has been now one month and I still have not spoken to the service manager despite calling their office frequently.
At this point I do not use their services again and I have no hopes of getting the second service fee back which I believe was not warranted as non of their technicians actually fixed the problem.
I do not recommend to use this company for any services as long as the owners allow their service manager to treat customers like this.
