STAY AWAY!!! We gave him a big deposit for a fence in Feb and after many re-scheduled start dates, numerous excuses, etc, we cancelled the job in March. We still do not have our money back . I sent him a registered letter that returned to me as his address on the web site is bogus. He makes promises that he can't keep, stringing us along the way. He once resorted to using that we were both from New York and that I understood how this worked. I am not from NY, and this is not how business goes. He also said that I would be paid back if we removed all negative postings on the web. Well, that was 4 weeks ago and I still have not been paid back my money!!!! This is underhanded, illegal, and unethical. And I also noted on his web site that he has a new DIY web site, probably paid for by my money and the two other posters that he mistreated. Company was contracted to build fence, giving me a lead time of 4-5weeks. After 5 weeks of waiting and 2 no shows was told that they did not have the money to complete the job, despite having given them a rather hefty deposit. I agree with the user below, they promise the world and deliver nothing. STAY AWAY!!! I have since found out that I am not the first person they have done this to. We had Raleigh Fence Company install a chain link fence. We have a dog who is a digger and they recommended using tension wire along the bottom to make it taught. Recently moving down here from Vermont, we found The Raleigh Fence Company online and agreed to have them build our fence. The staff was knowledgeable and the employees who cam out to do the work were top notch. O was in contact with me several times regarding questions or suggestions as they built our fence. The job was done in four days. They were well within the 4-6 weeks the owner estimated when we signed the deal. I will definitely recommend them to others. Ken came out immediately to do the estimate. His truck leaked oil all over our brand new driveway-he knew it and didnt even apologize. He promised a start date of the next week. 3 weeks later he has our deposit and all we have are fenceposts. He has excuse after excuse. He won't anser his phone if we call from our phone....but if I call from a different number he picks up quickly. He also uses a ""I've been sick excuse"" a little too often. He also admitted that his subcontractors screwed up someone's fence and he had to hire someone else to fix it. Why would you tell someone that ? I would not recommend him for ANYTHING.\r He did recommend someone to build our deck-and he was AWESOME. If you need his name, send me a message. more

The Raleigh Fence Company has some of the most knowledgeable fencing experts I heard from. The fence quality is great and they were very polite and very neat. I love my new fence and Will enjoy it for many years. Jim was there to explain everything to me as they built our fence. If he was not sure of a particular location of a gate or other little issues, he came right to me and explained it and suggested a work around if need be. It is rare in todays day and age to fine a customer oriented company, but Raleigh Fence Company definitely is Pros: Professional sales and service these guys know what they are doing Cons: nothing really more

We are very happy about how nice our fence looks. Raleigh Fence Company was chosen because they were professional and they were the most knowledgeable of all the companies we had come out for an estimate. Ken, pointed out a public utility easement and was able to suggest a couple different workarounds. Their pricing was competitive and the quality of their work was the best.
