Entry Level Player Finds the Right Store 1/17/2012

Great music store. I went there looking for my 7 year old's first guitar and needing advice, since while I'm musical I am not a guitar player myself. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, and I found a guitar that was priced similarly to entry level ones I'd seen elsewhere, but had clearly better workmanship. You can also arrange for in store lessons for considerably less than competing stores; my daughter likes her teacher and is progressing well. I give them 5 well deserved stars. more

very good guitar tech 2/10/2011

Just got my Strat back from Pete the guitar tech. It was amazing the difference. He took lots of time to explain to me what he'd done and the cost was very reasonable. It plays amazingly well now after his setup and adjustments. Like a new, better, guitar. Couldn't be more happy and Pete is my tech until he retires. more

Great local music store. 10/4/2010

Rainbow is an awesome store. Good used selection and new. Repairs are very reasonable and professionally done. Nice locally owned business. They have acoustic guitars, amps, electric guitars and amps, marshall, fender, heritage, line 6, taylor and many other brands. more

Professional and knowlegable. 8/28/2006

I had heard good things in the local music scene about this place and thought I would take an easy fix down and see how they do. My first impression was that this was a very good looking store. \r They have a wide selection of instruments, amps and accessories from a number of different manufactures. They also have a couple of rooms where you can ?test drive? an instrument in privacy with out distracting other shoppers or draw attention to yourself. \r I went to have a tone pot replaced on a friend?s bass. Rather than just do the work and charge me, they diagnosed that the tone pot merely needed cleaning. Total charge was $4. Service and integrity with their repair work, they have won me over as a customer for life. PROS: Great service with a real love of the business CONS: hard to compete with national chain prices on their guitars. more
