This place is by far my favorite place to go when I'm in the mood to eat great KABOB. A must have when your in the mood for REAL kabob and authentic sides. Not only am I impressed...

Worst

The appetizers are way too expensive. The Shirazi salad is not even flavorful with rough parsley in it. The portions of the meat are big, but it is too expensive. It is double ...

Great Kabob 3/21/2007

This is a small restaurant, but has really good food. The chicken kabob here is really good. The portions are big, so it would be ideal to share a plate with a friend. Their rice is also very flavorful. You also have a choice of a number of side dishes that you can order from. The ambience is nice as well. The seating is in an outdoor patio area. more

Best Lamb Kabob!!! 9/20/2006

Haven't tried much on the menu but if you enjoy lamb...you MUST get the lamb kabob! It's delish!!! Service was okay and food preparation time took longer than expected but def worth the wait! Pros: Best Lamb Kabob Cons: Slow Service more

didn't meet expectations! 8/15/2006

after reading the reviews and hearing from friends how great this place was,i ventured in with an armenian friend and wow..what a dissapointment. a wednesday night and it was not crowded so there was no excuse for the dry as a bone tasteless chicken kabob. my friends barg(filet mignon on a skewer) was good but compared to elena's on glendale ave. this place is overpriced and the food greatly inferior. the basmati rice is as always a yawn. the entree prices approach the $20 mark and i just didn't feel the love. Pros: close to brand blvd and the shops Cons: inferior food at superior prices. more

Best food and huge portion for a great price. 8/2/2006

I was in Los Angeles for a visit and I was told about Raffi's excellent food. But I wasn't told about his portion which was huge. The food was excellent and the service was superb. The price was great. The environment was family oriented and so relaxed. I recommend it to anyone who loves Middle Eastern food. Pros: Best food more

This place is by far my favorite place to go when I'm in the mood to eat great KABOB. A must have when your in the mood for REAL kabob and authentic sides. Not only am I impressed by the food, there staff is amazing. I was a waiter growing up and dining at raffi's made me feel like they really get the whole idea about service, which many resturants these days seem to forget and focus on the money. Speaking of money. I was also impressed by the price of eveything. Not over priced at all, actually a steel for what there offering. Not to mention the amazing staff, they make you feel like asking for anything is not a hassel at all. I have taken many friends and clients there and all of them have pretty much said the same thing, that ""this place is the best"". I STRONGLY agree. My FAVORITE place 6/2/2006

Raffi's place has the best of everything: a cosy family environment, great food and excellent service. This family-run restaurant uses the best quality meat and amazingly fresh vegetables. Their appetizers are amazing and the luleh kabob is the BEST you will ever have! It is so refreshing to see owners who know their customers by name and who always greet you with a smile. Great Introduction to Kabobs 11/11/2005

Owned and operated by Armenian-Iranians, this restaurant focuses on kabobs. The outdoor atmosphere is wonderful as is the food. The service is not what the first reviewer suggested. I live in Los Angeles and we have lots of Iranian (Persian) restaurants. This place has the best kabobs. Don't miss it. PS, don't try to park on the street, they have parking on a nearby structure that is less than one block away. more

Great food. POOR service!! 10/1/2005

Our waiter took the order, delivered the food and didnt return. We were out of water, I was out of tea, and no one noticed, despite our efforts to flag someone (any waiter) down, and the fact that we were seated in the MIDDLE of the patio, in plain view of the staff, who was constantly shuffling past us to take new orders, as if we were ignored. Despite it being Saturday night, its not right when patrons seated AFTER us at tables next to us were constantly asked if they needed anything. When we flagged someone down, we were always met with ""Just a minute! which became 10, then 20...Weekend night or not, there is no excuse for ever making your restaurant patrons feel ignored. Raffi's is the type of place you can go to over and over again and receive the same quality of service and food every single time. It's a great place to take non-persians/armenians for their first experience of kebob. Try the appetizers -- they're amazing! BEST FOOD IN GLENDALE/BURBANK/PASADENA AREA! We went to Raffi's with ten people and sat outside. It was very nice. The food was excellent, although the tabouli was a bit dry. Our waiter was great. Definately a good place for dinner. Pros: Outdoor seating, Excellent food, Great Service Cons: Dry Tabouli more

Start with appetizers that are perfect for a summer dinner under the open sky: moist eggplant, smoothest hummus around, and a delightful mix of radishes, persian basil and raw onions to throw into your lavosh. Raffi's is one of the best Persian-Armenian restaurant in the Glendale area. With it's great pattio sitting arrangement as well as it's cozy private indoor area, Raffi's is th eplace to be with family and friends. With a great group of waiters and lively music, Raffi's is the place to eat. more
