I called him to do a small job. Tree trimming. When he arrived he immediately went into scam mode, offering to do several projects a low price if I could give him cash up front. At first I didn't fall for it and told him I would give him nothing until the men showed up to work, and the rest when they were done.\r \r The workers came and did a reasonably good job, so I gave him some money. He then started promising more discounts for more work. I fell for it. His workers dug up my back yard in preparation for enlarging my patio, and tore down my old patio cover. \r \r Now my back yard is a wreck, and Rafael won't answer his phone. So even though amount of money he stole from me was relatively small, compared to the work that was actually done, it is probably going to cost me cost an additional $1000 by the time I clean up the mess he created.\r \r I am going to file a suite in small claims court and report him to the police more

Same here, Rafael is a huge liar. Every time I called him her promised he was coming to finish the job. He takes your money and runs. The man should be in prison. DO NOT HIRE THIS THIEF! more

Rafeal's Tree Service was contracted to paint the outside of my house. Requested more than 1/2 the money up front. Started painting days later than promised. Job was completed days after promised - but once completed he was there to pick up the remaining $$$$ just 15 minutes after his workman finished and left.\r \r Looks great. Pain in the ass to reach. Screens his phone calls. Now I have a small problem with 1 place that his painter messed up (5 minute fix) and he will not return my phone calls to his cell.\r \r Use at your own risk. I am 95% happy in the end... but have to go fix up his work now.\r \r Probably won't hire him again - and that's sad because he has done excellent work in the past. I don't trust the man anymore. more

Rafeal takes your money and does not finish the work. Offers to do work at a reduced rate and does not finish. Do noit advance more than 1/2 half the fee unilt everything is completed. more

We contacted Rafael to provide a quote on removing some trees and bushes. He came to our home and quoted us a very high price. He then stated that he could do the removals, plus fence work needed, plus trim repair, and paint our entire house all at a discount if we were to give him all of the work. He stated he needed 1/2 payment upfront. We drew up a detailed contract stating all of the work that was to be done- very detailed, which he signed. We gave him 1/2 of the money for the entire job. He removed the trees and shrubs and did not come back. A week later, he took down our side fence and never put it back up. He took our money and never did the work. We had to rebuild our fence to keep the dogs in and then get another company to rebuild our fence again, because of how Rafael destroyed it when he took it down. Our house is still not prepped or painted. His references said not to give him money upfront- I should have known better more
