Worse day in my entire life.\r Gessler clinic women's division has the worse staffs and services in the entire nation. they treat me like crap and they did a great job showing me they don't care about my health at all. they receptionists or nurse ( whatever they are ) talked about me like I wasn't even there. Two days after I called to make an appointment for a check up, I received a package of prenatal forms to fill out. I called back and explain to them ( I believe she said her name was Veronica ) I don't think I pregnant and that I don't feel confortable filling out those forms until I know for sure I'm pregnant. I also told her that it is normal for me not to have a period for a month or two and on top of it I'm having problem getting pregnant. It would be devasteting for me to fill out all those forms only to find out I'm not pregnant. She was very rude and extremely unprofessional. She told me there was nothing she can do and I need to bring with me all the forms and whatever balance I owe to the clinic. Otherwise, I will not be able to see my OBGYN. I tried to explain to her I'm on a payment plan and I don't understand why I need to pay in full before I can see my OBGYN for a check up. That's when she hung up the phone on me. the day of my appointment was so bad I don't even want to mention in here. I just don't wanna relive it. I went to the mean office to file a complaint they told me that the women's division kind of do the own things. they would take my complaint and have somebody call me. well, I still waiting for that phone call. more

Please get your facts straight! Dr. Shaw has not been a physician at Gessler Clinic since 2009. Please have the decency not to slander a business that has nothing to do with your grievances! Please..... more

dr. shaw is the worst doctor to go as a patient . his staff is so joke .he listen to them than the patients they dont have any cortesy in front of the patients, this shaw he dont give a dam about patients takes vacations nobody to to cover for him if you dont like some thing about the nurse or him regarding his treatment he take the patients off from his care with out even notifying them. he did that to me and few other patients i know one of other one she was my friend. i came from vacation after 4 months he took me off from his care no notice nothing i am out of my preccreptions, i called and called and than finally his wife which is a arragant woman tells me not him her tells me in front of her staff i should go see another doctor he is disgarasse full to say he is a doctor. more

I would have to agree with CoCo on the service at Gessler Clinic... I too heard that Dr Ratleiff (however you spell!!) came highly recommended, but have yet to figure out why! It's such a shame too... first off she seems nice, but gives you no time in this world. My last visit 1/2 way through she says she will be right back to bring me a prescription and she has the nurse bring it back in... I wasn't even done with my questions... I pay her $35 out of my pocket (not to mention whatever my insurance gives her!) and she had the audacity to do that? And the nurse... told me something TOTALLY different was wrong with me than what the Dr said. I called later because I was so confused as to what the medication she gave me was for and they told me that the nurse was wrong. I just found out I am pregnant again and I will be going STRAIGHT back to Bond Clinic where I was to begin with - Dr. Gabriel. more

As a first time mother, I do not recommend Gessler OB-GYN. Customer service is not a concept embraced by this office. I went to the office to simply get a medical release form, despite the fact that there were about 15 people standing around I was asked to come back after lunch. The front office staff was consistently rude and unprofessional, both in person and over the phone. \r Dr. Ratliff came highly recommended, but I have yet to realize the reason behind the recommendation. She was inattentive, impersonal, and always had one foot out of the door before even asking if I had any questions. Maybe she is busy, but since I pay for her time I expect just that. If you are looking for service worth paying for I would highly recommend anyone to check out Lakeland OBGYN. I made the mistake of transferring from Lakeland OBGYN to Gessler, and was grossly disappointed. Maybe it was that Lakeland OBGYN was that good, or Gessler Clinic was that poor. \r They wouldn't allow me to select 0 starts....but that is my recommendation.\r Pros: They accept BCBS. Cons: Customer Service, Ambience, Waiting-Room time more

Dr. Shah really takes an interest in his patients and makes and really cares for his patients on an individual basis. I would highly recommend Dr. Shah if you live in Winter Haven and need a good family doctor. more
