I have worked with dozens of contractors and Hugh is the best by far. He exceeded my expectations on a number of levels. The work he did on my loft is outstanding! His pricing is very fair and he was willing to beat his competitors. The contract was straight forward, no ambiguous language. All of the work was completed on time and within budget. The RCH staff made our remodel project such a pleasant experience. Our extensive project included the entire living level of our home, including the kitchen, in addition to a bathroom upstairs. We appreciated the fact that the dust and debris were kept to a minimum during demolition and there were never construction items left outside our home. Our project manager was always available to respond to any questions or issues that arose. The subcontractors were courteous and did great work. As with any remodel, there were a few challenges, but our project manager met those challenges with a positive attitude and always found a solution. There were many times that he went far beyond the call of duty to make sure our vision became a reality and always did his best to stay within our budget. Our home is now even more beautiful and functional than we could ever have imagined. We would definitely recommend RCH to anyone wanting to do a remodel project. more

Remodeling a kitchen is such a huge deal that we put it off for quite some time. If only we had known about Hugh Hobus and RCH we would have started much earlier! We love the final product and have to say that the experience was excellent. RCH came in on budget and ahead of time!! These guys really know what they are doing! The planning was very thorough. We had a great exchange of ideas to finally come up with the design and materials we wanted and the end result proves it. We have a kitchen that is just right for our family and lifestyle. During the process our day-to-day contact was always polite and professional, with a good sense of humor too! The work site was always clean. The subcontractors showed up when they said they would. With a big project there will obviously be minor hiccups along the way, but it is how they were dealt with that shows the true professionalism of RCH… quick to respond and always focused on providing excellent customer service. The best contractors in Hilton Head Island! We worked with RCH on a whole-home remodel and couldn't be happier. From start to finish they were extremely professional, flexible understood our vision and how to bring into every aspect of the job. They helped us identify creative solutions when issues arose and always had an idea when we had a question. Their work ethic is top notch as well as the care and pride they put into their work. Perhaps most importantly, they finished when they said they were going to (actually a few days before) which rarely happens in a construction project. After the work on my modest kitchen remodel project stalled out, I started poking around for some help to finish. I had seen RCH Construction's signs in my neighborhood and shot off a quick email to see what they could do for me. Within a week, I'd had a thorough visit to discuss my needs and an estimate in hand. A few tweaks to reign in my overly ambitious plans, and they were at work within the week. Every member of the assembled "team" was professional, skilled, and a pleasure to have in my home. I was absolutely thrilled with the results. So thrilled that project #2 is now underway.
