Dr. Quon is an excellent dentist. It's a very small operation that is well run. He always remembers who I am when I call to make an appointment. He is very thorough with my cleanings. I have sensitive teeth from receding gums and he's always very careful around these areas. He explains my x-rays and always uses the chattering teeth to help illustrate anything he needs to tell me regarding my dental health. Pros: Patient personable dentist Cons: No frills more

Nobody was in the office when I arrived fifteen minutes early for my appointment. I was a new patient and gave myself time to fill out the insurance paperwork. Dr Quon showed up 10 minutes late for my appointment. Second impression, a thread bare, stained carpet on entry. No lights on except the one over my ""cubicle"" as he led me to the back. I sat in an old, torn dentist chair squeezed between clutter. He had called the automated insurance line 4 times because he was clueless to the information they were requesting. Now, over two months after my visit, I receive a call from Dr. Quon to inform me that he doesn't know how to submit my insurance forms. He told me I need to call my insurance company to obtain a remittance form for him, or I will be responsible for the full bill! I found him on the Blue Cross Website! He has no idea how to perform the administrative part of his job. During my visit, I asked him many questions about teeth whitening and a night guard. He said he was going to check with my insurance and send me a quote. I have not heard back from him until today... about the bill! I will not be returning to Dr Quon. Dr. Quon is like a dentist out of ""The Andy Griffith"" TV show. He is a small town dentist who takes his time to do the work right. He is never in a rush and running from patient to patient. His office is isn't chaotic nor do you get the feeling that the majority of your dental bill is going towards the fancy TVs, DVDs, etc. Dr. Quon has awesome prices and takes the time to explain everything to you. Needless to say, you leave completely satisfied. He also goes out of his way to accommodate for emergencies. My husband needed an emergency procedure on a Sunday morning and Dr. Quon made time for him on his day off. Dr. Quon is smart, kind, and professional, and has been in the business for over 20 years in the same area. He has a great reputation that he has earned and kept and I proudly recommend Dr. Quon. Pros: great prices, parking, no annoying staff...you speak directly to Dr. Quon, no wait time Cons: This is a ""no frills"" place. If you are looking for fancy bells and whistles...move on more

I live in Foster City and love that my Dentist is right next door. Dr Quon would be worth the drive from any of the cities in San Mateo County. He is as up-to-date as any DDS on the map and uses a wonderful painless water system when cleaning teeth..He does all the work as well. It is nice not having multiple people in and out of the room.....Your teeth will be safe in his hands.........Thanks Doc more
