TERRIBLE! I have never had such a bad experience in my life. If there's any recommendation to be made, it's to STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE. I came here for a windshield replacement and here's the nightmare that occurred.
In short, I was:
- Lied to by dishonest employees who would not honor their word
- Given a scratched windshield TWICE
- Given bad attitudes from employees almost as if they didn't even want my business
- Not offered a place to wait because the ""waiting couch"" had construction materials on it
- Kept waiting around for over two hours to find out nothing was done to my vehicle after I was told my problem was ""fixed.""
This is my story in detail:
I had the most disheartening, foul, and repulsive experience at Queens Liberty Auto Glass. It was a Friday morning when I came in to have my front windshield replaced. I was told the wait would be two hours, and was not offered an area to wait or sit. The ""waiting"" couch was covered by construction materials, and while there were empty chairs in the office, it didn't seem like the employees wanted me in there. After the new windshield was installed, I noticed a large scratch on the glass. I brought it to the attention of one of the employees in the office; he came to see the scratch and then walked away from me without saying a word. I followed him into the office, and he told me to come back on Monday morning to have a new windshield installed. I asked him to confirm it in writing on the original receipt, and he did so with a nasty attitude. I returned on Monday morning and was greeted with ""JUST GIVE ME THE KEYS."" I was told it would be another two hours, so I waited. After two hours, my keys were handed back to me with a ""HAVE A NICE DAY."" I went outside to see that my car was moved, but the same old windshield was still on the car. I brought it to their attention, and they told me they had ""fixed"" the issue, yet I was looking at the exact same windshield with the same scratch, untouched. At this point, I had waited two hours for absolutely nothing. I requested that a new windshield be put in as it had been promised. I was given a new windshield, but even this new one had scratches on it. I didn't have any more patience to deal with the issue so I just left and settled for what I was given. The two people running the business in the Queens location are some of the rudest I've come across. This was an absolutely horrific experience and I'm far from a satisfied customer. I will NEVER return, and I will only tell people to STAY FAR AWAY from this business.
