My washing machine was delivered to me and immediately did not work. Additionally, the washer was dirty and had some pieces of cat vomit in it. They never returned my phone calls...

I have read the posts on here and I have found no truth in the ones before mine. I in fact checked out this company and found quality used appliance closed. the one you call Optimum appliance. Well I check them out also. well they don't even have the same owners. very good ratings on the BBB and very easy to talk to staff. Run, Run, Run.... Now called Optimum Appliance and Recycling Center, dropped the LLC and then registered for new one so they would not have to be responsible for all the crap they previously sold. Bought appliances from them and had issues with every one. Poor service. Gave up on getting the last two fixed after hasseling with them for over 7 months! Never heard so many lies and seen such bad customer service. Wish I would have read some reviews on the web and on the BBB. more

They had to change names because they destroyed their reputation doing buiness as Quality Used Appliance. Now apparently they call themselves Optimum Appliance.\r \r I bought a used side by side fridge, it worked for a little while, then quit. Quality used appliance took my fridge to fix it under warranty. I still don't have it back nearly a year later. I had to buy a new fridge, no one can go for months without a fridge. They have lied to me over and over, saying one day that it is on the truck, ready to be delivered, then 3 days later saying they are still working on it. Do not do business with these scammers! more

Rating: poor \r \r Sold me a busted dryer.\r Huge hassle to get a tech out.. After managing to get him out 5 times.. He Has yet to fix the problem..\r Unacceptable customer service.. They literally hang up on you..\r After about 7 attempts, still haven't been able to speak to their manager.. Busy guy..\r Have promised to have tech/manager call back about 10 times.. They never do.. \r \r I'm shocked these guys are still in business.. Wish I read some reviews first..\r \r Do yourself a favor, and buy else where.\r more

I had QUAR come out to pick up appliances which they offered to pay us for (the working ones). We called multiple times over the course of 2 weeks and left multiple messages - no response. Finally we posed as a new customer and the owner was then coincidentally available to talk to... he told me to F*ck off and hung up the phone. So we filed a police report to which he said he would send the agreed to documents - with still no reponse. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use these guys. Also check the Better Business Bureau's website. more

I don't understand this negative review. To me it sounds like someone is acting like a little child to insult someone on the web. I bought 4 appliances over a year ago from this place and never once had any trouble. Just went back on Friday and bought 3 more for a rental unit. They have a good thing going here and people like you want to just wine about everything. A ice maker tray? Really? Sound to me you don't know the inside of a fridge very well. There's no tray. There's the ice maker and the auger bin. No tray. Sounds to me like your a competitor just bashing a good business. more

Never, EVER, Will I Buy From Them Again! 4/14/2012

We bought a side by side fridge from this place. I went back for the icemaker tray 5 TIMES, and out of those 5 times, it mysteriously disappeared twice(really, it was just here). The other 3 times, we were given icetrays for the wrong model. Over 2 years later, a useless icemaker tray sits in my garage. Also, I have to empty the freezer/fridge and defrost it every 2 months because a giant sheet of ice forms on the back of the unit, which fails to freeze/cool the food. I was told this is normal. Funny, we never had to defrost the other fridge. In fact, as I'm typing this, my wife just informed me that we have to defrost it now. No lie!! We figure this fridge probably cost us $500-$600 in wasted food. I believe they knowingly sold me a defective unit and had no intention of giving me the ice maker. I spent a lot of time dealing with them. IMHO, I really think they sniffed a lot of Sharpies in school and it would be wise for them to move further away from the power plant. All that's missing from this place is the Duelling Banjos song. They sold me a fridge and I've been squealing like Ned Beatty ever since. Do not buy from this place. It's a sham. Maybe that's the reason they relocate every 3 years. Rating: ZERO more

    We are a family owned and run business that has been in business for several years. We pride ourselves in doing a quality job in whatever we do. We stand behind our products and service. All our appliances have a one year warranty. We sell refurbished and scratch and dent appliances.
    Our sales floor has many manufacturers of appliances including but not limited to Kenmore, Bosch, Frigidaire, LG, Whirlpool and more. Our stock is continuously changing and we have a variety of pricing to fit your needs. If we do not have what you need we will look for the item for you and will let you know when we have one for you. We add items daily.


    Our service department can service most major brands of appliances. They are certified technicians that have years of experience. Any major repair will have to be brought into our service department, otherwise we do provide in home service for small common repairs. We give free estimate for repair when needed.
    Our Recycling department recycles all appliances according to EPA standards. We take all appliances for recycling. Our prices for recycling are free if you drop them off. Pricing varies depending on quantity and location for pickup. Please call for pricing if you want us to pick them up.
