Quality Inn & Suites South Bend Airport

We stayed here for two nights while in town to see the Fighting Irish, and were quite pleased with the hotel. Clean, well maintained, basic services, good location, and great value considering the price compared to other hotels during a football weekend. We will stay here again more

Reserved a King size bed / jacuzzi room for New Years Eve for my BF and I.\r Pleasant staff, easy check-in, very clean room, appreciate the microwave and frig, jacuzzi is very relaxing and the bedding is sooooooo comfortable.Breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage and mini, ""make your own"" waffles. Nothing at all to complain about.\r (We had stayed overnight before, for Valentines Day 2015. It Just so happened to be the ""Blizzard"" day for northwest Indiana and lower southwest Michigan. Stayed here for one night as a intermediate stop in our road trip. This hotel is one of the better Quality Inns I've stayed at. The room was pretty clean and had all of the usual fare - microwave, coffee machine, and fridge. All in all this was a great experience.\r \r The staff here was very friendly. We encountered a website problem with our booking and the staff went ahead and manually did everything on their end; they also helped point out nice spots for dinner around town. more

All areas I visited were clean and the beds were very comfortable. They also offer a free shuttle to the airport, which helped out tremendously since my son and daughter-in-law just had a baby and needed their sleep. It is within walking distance to an ATM at the gas station next door or bank across the street, which also came in very handy. The internet worked fast and I loved the size of the room and bed. It is also great having a fridge and microwave in your room. more

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the young hockey players running around between 11 pm and 1 am were not appreciated. The staff should have been patrolling the hallways and rooms or should have booked them all on the first or second floors and our party on the third floor so we did not have to listen to the racket all night. more

Had Room for 3 nights, sat, sun, mon, and check out tue, Hotel was full on sat night. Lots of kids and teams. Staff was very kind and generous to help in every single possible way. breakfast was good, I like fitness center, has all the modern equipment's that I need. pool water look good but I didn't use that. My room was clean and I love the green theme, very modern, we will go back there more

How we end up at this hotel is long story, but how staff helped us is very important, we came late night, got lost from roads, too late to drive, staff gave us some food from breakfast to eat, gave nicer room with discount, very clean place, coffee iron hair dryer, all in room. 5 star experience, we will go back if we got lost again in same area, LOL more

I was expecting basic service that i expect from quality inns, but this one was little above than my expectations. i am reviewing this hotel because they treat me good.its like give and take thing. breakfast was good, i need charging device , it was already in room, tv was mounted on wall, love the room decoration. Will go back if get chance again. more

Used hotel site & chose non-refundable offer. The card is charged right away, & guarantees the low rate. Clean room & very comfy bed. The included breakfast was an expected selection, but rotated so it wasn't the same thing two mornings in a row. First was the scrambled eggs (they can get dry when sitting if not stirred or accessed but edible & free), sausage links, bagels, juices, & waffles. Next day the links were replaced with sausage gravy & biscuits (gravy didn?t taste floury-bonus).\r If arriving past 12am, there's a Taco Bell a couple miles down the road open til 4am. Otherwise, there are some great food options a short drive or Uber ride in the downtown area. A $7 Uber ride got us to Fiddler's Hearth, where we enjoyed some excellent fish & chips!\r Room had a mini fridge & microwave. Check the fridge setting if you plan to use it to ensure things don?t get frozen. We love this feature when driving to keep snacks/drinks cool without ice. Room was clean & quiet until our next morning, with a couple fighting next door. Staff offered to move us immediately when we reported this.\r I'd definitely recommend this hotel for price & proximity to downtown South Bend or the regional airport/southshore line. Friendly staff, cozy bed, clean room, & a free breakfast included with stay. They also have one of the most reasonable pet fees I've seen at $20 extra per night & no crazy deposit or fee on top of it like many hotels will do. Would stay again when visiting family in the area. more

Manager, Ken, and his staff extremely accommodating! They went out of their way to shuttle us and see we had everything we needed. Breakfast had many more options than other hotels in this price range. Proximity to airport is great! more

Clean & comfy. Good breakfast. The room was larger for less money than at the Sleep Inn right next door. When in South Bend, I will stay here. more

Accommodating staff. Breakfast average. Rooms and lobby look to be recently renovated. Bed in handicap room was low enough for wheelchair transfer---which is becoming hard to find. Bed was fine for me, the wheelchair user, but was much too hard and uncomfortable for my husband. more

The staff were very professional & the rooms clean..beds were comfortable..with adequate parking for the guests..would DEFINITELY stay here again more
