We arrived today at 2:05 and was checked in and in our room by 2:15. Kenda was very prompt in getting us checked in and paperwork processed. We scheduled our departure on tomorrow's shuttle to the Carnival Dream. Room was a little warm but cooled off quickly and bath was the most spacious one I have seen in any hotel. Room was clean and large. We had read reviews about long lines for check-in but Kenda said that has been corrected. more

had to go to New Orleans for a business trip at the convention center but found the French Quarter to be too pricey for my budget. Our room was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable and well stocked with comfy pillows. Breakfast buffet was good as was the attendant who kept the tables clean and food stocked til the last minute. We ate in the bar one night and had a very nice meal. Met both bartenders during our stay and they were both very friendly and attentive. We used the free shuttle to the ferry twice and both shuttle drivers gave us some insight into the devastation that Katrina inflicted on the area. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location to get anywhere you want to be. more

this was a last minute trip and it first started with a phone call to the hotel site for directions & availability. once we got there it was extremely busy but was still thoroughly sout after. We then were greeted by the manager who took care of us the entire stay. Cindy was the manager on duty and what an extremely generous person she is. She cared about her facility and all that was involved. she was definitely a reason for acknowledging great customer service. she was there from the time we got there and our two night stay. I will recommend this hotel for comfort and great customer service to anyone who visits this area.. we appreciate all the hospitality. please make this place one of your choices whenever in the area.. more

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Quality Inn in Gretna which allowed us to leave our car while we cruised for 7 days. Upon arrival, we checked in and got to our room which was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and big enough for four of us to not drive each other crazy. We immediately took the shuttle to the ferry to the French Quarter and the shuttle was great. We were taken very quickly and at night we called, and they were there in less than 15 minutes. The next day was the shuttle to the cruise port and it left right on time and upon our return, we called and it was there again in less than 15 minutes. We used the pool and it was surprisingly large and clean. If we ever cruise out of New Orleans, we will be back for sure. For one night's stay, we enjoyed free shuttles, free parking for the week and oh yeah, the breakfast which was complimentary and good! It far exceeded our expectations. Thanks! more

This hotel is great. Wonderful staff! The breakfast was great. Housekeeping was great! Shuttle services was great! Maintenance staff was nice and helpful. Free Wi-Fi. They brought a cart of clean towels to the pool every few hours. The bar served great cocktails! The catering was great! Thank you Linda, Cindy, Chris and Lenny for the wonderful weekend! more

I recently stayed and enjoyed the experience... Although I was there for only one night on business, the staff extended themselves to make my stay very pleasant... Ms Chiara (Front Desk) was sooooo very nice and helpful that I will definitely make your facility a mainstay during my business trips to the area... She was AWESOME!!!! more

Charlene the front desk representative who checked us in was very professional and informative.She told us all about the free service the hotel has to offer such as free breakfast in the morning and the shuttle ride to Algiers ferry to downtown to New Orleans. more

We booked a one night stay before our cruise leaving out of NOLA. The price was very fair especially since I would be leaving my car there for the whole week. The room was great! The room was clean, the sheets were soft and the water pressure relaxing!\r \r The staff was very helpful and professional. I will be returning to NOLA in the future and look forward to further stays!!!\r more

We were very concerned about this hotel after reading all the reviews. Very glad we decided to stay with this hotel! We booked 3 rooms and were pleased with all 3. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly and we couldn’t have asked for more. The breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. The hotel was very clean and well kept. We booked the rooms for a 2 day pre-cruise stay and couldn’t have been more pleased. The free shuttle to the cruise port was very well organized and got us to the port in minutes and helped us get a porter for all our luggage. We will definitely stay again before our next cruise. The price, free breakfast, free parking and free shuttle were all reasons we booked the hotel in the first place. The way we were treated and the expert handling of all the amenities are reasons we will be staying at this hotel again. more

Very nice, clean hotel. Large rooms, free breakfast buffet, restaurant on site. Front desk ladies so kind and helpful. We stayed one night, parked our car in the secured lot, was very comfortably shuttled to the port Orleans cruise terminal, and shuttled back 7days latter . All for less than what it would have cost us just to park for the 7 days at the cruise terminal. We will gladly stay again. more
