The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Worst

I love the area, we enjoy hiking in Arcadia but we will never stay in this Hotel again.I don't believe the Hotel Manager knows what customer service is!He is rude and doesn't know...

Excellent 8/19/2010

This hotel would have received a 5-star rating except for two reasons. The location is a little out of the way and requires a round about entry if coming from the south and the front desk clerk was absolutely terrible when I checked in/out. A course in customer service is definitely warranted. The clerk had no lights on behind the counter when I arrived after dark and literally tossed a key card at me without asking for ID/credit card or filling out any form. He never even uncrossed his legs from his chair. The clerk uttered two or three undicipherable words and then leaned back and turned away. No directions on where my room was located were offered. I found it in the back building. The room itself was amazing. Very large, spacious with excellent accomodations. The only change I would make on the new building would be to carpet the hallways as rolling luggage at 5am makes a very loud echoing sound throughout the building. I must then add that this room with new king size bed and excellent accomodations was less than $50 p/night. more

Available 8/18/2010

I stayed at Days Inn in Farmington, MO for five nights. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled very fresh. The carpeting looked new and the walls freshly painted. The manager and staff were helpful and friendly. The room had good lighting and a good selection of TV stations. The only drawback was that I was on the first floor and the window to the room was a sliding glass type (with a stick in it) and there was absolutely no lighting outside. Not a secure feeling for a woman traveling alone. This was a non-smoking room but there was a slight smell of smoke in the hallway. A small "spread" was available each morning for breakfast -- about as much as one would expect from a relatively inexpensive motel. I would definitely stay here again. more

Friendly staff 8/17/2010

Out of the hotels in Farmington, this is the by far the best buy for the money. The room is always clean and has great a.c., the staff is friendly as I travel here every week they have my room and key ready for me every week. They are willing to make accomodations when needed as well. The Holiday Inn may be newer, but it is in NO WAY worth twice as much if not more than the Days Inn. If you want to waste your money than go somewhere else but the Days Inn is the place to stay in Farmington. more

comfortable 8/13/2010

I was initially booked at a 4 star in St. Louis - simply for relaxation, but due to last minute surgery scheduling changes I needed to stay closer to home. My room was clean, quiet & comfortable and I saved over $300… more

exceptionally nice 8/9/2010

I thought the the hotel staff was exceptionally nice, but unlike many of the reviews I read, I didn't use third party booking. I called the hotel directly and since I stayed 3 nights I actually got a cheaper rate than what I could find on the internet more
