This hotel would have received a 5-star rating except for two reasons. The location is a little out of the way and requires a round about entry if coming from the south and the front desk clerk was absolutely terrible when I checked in/out. A course in customer service is definitely warranted. The clerk had no lights on behind the counter when I arrived after dark and literally tossed a key card at me without asking for ID/credit card or filling out any form. He never even uncrossed his legs from his chair. The clerk uttered two or three undicipherable words and then leaned back and turned away. No directions on where my room was located were offered. I found it in the back building. The room itself was amazing. Very large, spacious with excellent accomodations. The only change I would make on the new building would be to carpet the hallways as rolling luggage at 5am makes a very loud echoing sound throughout the building. I must then add that this room with new king size bed and excellent accomodations was less than $50 p/night.
