It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

Worst

this hotel is not what it says....microwaves and fridges are 10$ each, and 7$ a night parking ..... upon entering the room there were stains on the rug, it had mold in the bathroo...

A Pleasure 5/5/2013

I went here with my son, we were on vacation and I needed to find a hotel that could fit my budget. When I made the rservation through the phone the staff were friendly and even friendlier when I checked in. My son enjoyed the pool, and the fact that they have free wifi is awesome. My one week stay here was lovely, I would go again. more

There are several restaurants and fast food places within walking distance 7/26/2010

They serve both Amtrak and the airport, and they happily delivered us to the cruise ship dock. In fact, in order to accommodate us and the many other cruise ship passengers staying with them, they put a second shuttle into service. There is a bus stop 1/2 block away. We were able to take busses to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo, and also to Old Town and the downtown area. There are several restaurants and fast food places within walking distance, as well as a restaurant in the hotel, and there is a large super market on the corner. It would be hard to beat this hotel for comfort and convenience, and for the friendly attitude of management. more

It has been newly renovated with care and our room was always clean and fresh and comfortable 7/22/2010

I am amazed at the bad reviews for this hotel, and wonder whether they describe the same place? We stayed there for 5 nights in March, and again in December It is an older hotel, but it has been newly renovated with care and our room was always clean and fresh and comfortable. It is in a much quieter location than I would expect in a big city (we could leave our window open at night), and the rooms on the harbor side have a nice view of the city skyline. Their shuttle service is absolutely wonderful. more

I definitely recommend this hotel 7/20/2010

Our room was clean, we had a view of downtown San Diego and part of the harbor. I definitely recommend this hotel. I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. more

Don't know what everyone is complaining about. My room had no mould, no awful smells, I was not bitten by anything in the bed- which was also comfortable, carpet was nice and clean, the staff were helpful and the elevators worked just fine...nor is it the slum that people are making it out to be. more

Great customer service, comfy room 7/13/2010

We did all 5 things, and were conveniently located to all of them! Great customer service, comfy room, with nice bedding, and a huge window, with a view of the marina, reasonable price, reasonable breakfast, quiet hotel, underground covered parking was nice, and the hotel itself was pretty well decorated. In-hosue bar was comfortable and casual, and even allowed us to take our drinks to our room, though in plastic cups. more

very CLEAN rooms! 6/29/2010

Good-looking lobby, nice managers, very CLEAN rooms, complimentary breakfast in the morning. The night club is there, in the left side of the building and we stayed on the 5th floor of the right side, but our room was completely quiet. Now back to the bathroom - very clean. I was surprised but everything just sparkled. They even have granite counters. The location is cool too - near the beach, right next to Denny's…simple clean affordable place to stay. I liked it and will stay there again. more

My stay was delightful! 6/29/2010

My most recent stay at this Quality Inn was delightful. The staff were very helpful and understanding to my needs.I've stayed at this location whenever I fly into and out of San Diego because of its closeness to the airport. On this visit I noticed that the hotel had renovations that really enhanced the whole property. The room was clean and comfortable. The value was top notch.I would recommend this hotel to any one in need of a hotel more

Do NOT stay here!!! 10/27/2005

We stayed here for a total of 3 days- I did not like the place once we step foot into it. The parking garage was creepy with lots of lose wires and cables hanging down from the ceiling. It smelled and was very hot down there. The lobby was nice, however there were signs posted everywhere that the hotel was in the middle of renovation. The rooms were ok, not priced right for what they were though. Some of the rooms were missing their room number plaques, so the # was just written on the door with ballpoint pen. The walls were cracked & badly patched, no new paint, baseboard broken, and sprinkler pipes hanging down from the ceiling. I did not feel safe here, as the neighborhood that we were in just did not look safe. The elevator took forever and was very small and smelly. I would NOT recommend this place! more
