AVOID!!! 1/15/2014

Poor quality, increasing prices, and immature attitude. We hired Q Construction (John & Allan) to take over a large home remodel project. Within the first 2 weeks the prices had gone 20-25% above their projections and they continually claimed certain items were not part of the bid. In addition, within 1 day of having tile laid our tiles cracked in 2 separate locations, grout was cracking, and they damaged many parts of our kitchen during construction. I'd avoid them at all costs. We ended up firing them, withholding payment for the work they refused to perform, and have hired a new contractor. What a nightmare. more

We hired John and Allan to take over a home renovation project. They were very nice in the beginning, but as the prices kept increasing and their quality of workmanship kept decreasing we had to fire them. Arguments were always part of the process when the bill came due as it was 20-25% higher than quoted. 1 Day after a tile floor was installed we had 2 cracked tiles, cracked grout, and they denied any wrong doing as well as a refusal to fix. After firing them, they left in a huff and acted quite immature. I'd highly recommend you look elsewhere. more

Absolutely Perfect 1/22/2011

Q Construction gave a more reasonable bid than the others. Also straight away John has questions that the other guys didnt anticipate. It was obvious he just cared more and was sharper. He and his workers are super friendly. He had a great eye for detail and seemed to be able to do anything - plumbing, electrics, paint, tile, sheet rock, demo. All of which our bathroom remodel needed. Hes a super honest guy who really cares about how his customers feel when the jobs done. He told us every day what he'd be working on tomorrow. The best part was he responded to every question i had in minutes whether it was weekends or nights. We'll definitely be using Q Construction for all our jobs in the future. You only have to call his references to be confident in this guys work. more
