Dr. P was in too much of a hurry and didn't listen to my husband and I's concerns about our child not being ready for the novicane and he came in with the needle and our son saw it and started crying and when he got close our son tried to block the needle and the doctor then shot our son in the shoulder with the needle.
We feel it was not intentional but he did not listen to us when we told him our son did not look to be relaxed from the nitris. We also told him that our son has a hard time breathing well out of his nose and may need more time on the day of procedure. I feel we were not heard and the result is now we have a traumatized child.
We did receive an apology followed quickly that our child was just too scared and maybe next time take him to the hosipital and have him put under. Not very professional or how we expected this experience to be. I just want people to be aware and now I wish I would have done more research as now I have heard other not so professional experiences from this business.
