I've been going to Kristina at Pyara in Burlington for a couple years now. Before that I had been wandering around different salons until I found a stylist I liked. I finally found Kristina and haven't been anywhere else since! She understands my hair and how I like it cut and styled. She is always a sweetie pie. I just cut my hair to donate to Locks of Love a couple months ago and my boyfriend keeps telling me how much he loves the cut and that I should never have a different hair cut ever again! Now if that's not a testament to how great a cut it is, I just don't know what is. :) Also the shoulder rub before the shampoo is like heaven! Best place for any salon or spa needs. Hands down. Don't bother with Newbury St. Just go to Pyara. more

I had a wonderful experience at Pyara. I had a facial and a massage. The massage was divine ! Great job Amy. Debbie gave a foot massage during facial and I thought that was a great touch. I felt very pampered. Thank you ladies ! more

Crying Baby 12/12/2011

There was a fussing/crying baby in the color area. I don't think babies should be allowed. Impinges on the relaxing atmosphere. more

Ariel is great! I'm always very happy with my color and style and she's fun to chat with! I had to go through a few stylists when I moved to the Boston area last year and apparently, the third time's the charm. more

Color was GREAT, but save yourself a hassle and skip the blow dry 12/9/2011

Color was awesome!!! The apprentice who dried my hair could NOT have done a worse job if she tried. I was mortified walking out the door because of how ridiculous I looked. I wanted to ask her on my way out, "Would you ever be caught dead in public yourself looking like this!?" Luckily it was just a blow dry so I fixed it myself when I got home, but the lack of skill and technique with a round brush AND a straightening iron floored me. The colorist was amazing though so I will definitely be back! more

Always fabulous 12/8/2011

Elyse gave me a great new layered cut, which I love! I wanted to keep the length, but the new layers give me a lot more flexibility to leave it wavy. As usual, my Pyara experience was enjoyable, so relaxing and I leave there feeling great! more

I recently moved back to MA after living in FL and Singapore for the past 7 years. I've been very lucky to find great Aveda stylists throughout the world and have to say that Brenda ranks as one of the best. She did a fabulous job with my cut and color. I've received many compliments and look foward to my next appointment. more

Good location. Facilities were clean and conducive to relaxing. Massage by Amy was very nice. Would have liked to see additional shower stall in ladies locker room for clean up. Staff was extremely friendly, fun and efficient. Will definitely return for the recommended Caribbean scrub. more

Wonderful as always. I love the complimentary head and neck massage; the "masseuse" spent extra time--it was heavenly. And, as always, the service provided by Amber was fabulous. She knows my hair and what style complements my look and face. She is a wizard with the blow dryer as well! I am a repeat (monthly) customer and will be back. more

I always enjoy coming into the spa and getting my nails done from Ronda Johnson, whether its a basic manicure, a shellac or a pedicure. I ALWAYS feel so special due to the exceptional customer service Ronda provides. She is a person that stands out of the crowd and makes you want to come back each week! She is a keeper, :) more

I have always received consistently great massages at Pyara. The facility is clean and pleasant, and the service is always prompt. The masseuse always takes the time to talk to me about what kind of massage I want, any areas that she should pay attention to or avoid, etc. more

First exprience at Pyara 11/17/2011

I loved my first experience at Pyara. It was all about me from the moment I stepped in the door. Making sure I was comfortable, relaxed and happy was the goal of the staff and they succeeded. I have had too many unpleasant experiences where the stylist has over booked themselves and I have had to suffer the consequences. Not so at Pyara in Burlington Ma. It was the best eva!! KUDOS to my stylist Kristina, I am getting many compliments on my hair cut :). Thanks! more
