Puttin' On The Ritz

Honestly, hiring Shannon and Putin' on the Ritz is the biggest regret my husband and I have with our wedding. The food was pretty good, although the meat was a little rubbery. It's the service that is the problem. Shannon is incredibly controlling and bossy about how things have to go. It doesn't matter if you think you know everything, it's not your special day. The worst part was that she was supposed to be there on the wedding day to coordinate everything, but someone else was sent instead. This person was capable, however, they did not know the plans and it added a LOT of stress to the day, especially because things were not done right. Seriously wish we had just ordered pizza and coordinated everything myself. more

I find it hard to believe that anyone can post what they want on the internet without the facts to back them up. I can only hope that any potential clients take the time to ask me directly about what really happened instead of believing part of the story. I take care of over 100 clients each year and have no problem with my customer service. Pros: Great service more

Puttin in the ritz is a business without a heart. They called me the day of my grandfather's funeral and screamed at me because the check I had sent, had not arrived (which was not yet late due to the terms of our agreement). I offered to pay with a card, and they refused saying that didn't trust my mom's credit card. They threatened to cancel my wedding reception. They then went on to yell at my mother (who had just had her father's funeral), saying that they were ""sorry she was having a family crisis but it wasn't their problem."" Then, the next day when my wedding was called off, they did not refund a cent. When we asked them to deliver the food to the hotel instead of to the reception site, they refused. My uncle went to pick it up and they gave it to him frozen. They still charged us for a keg that was not delivered and servers that were not used. DO NOT use their services. Saving a dollar or two is not worth it. Cons: EVERYTHING more
