Fun Atmosphere great service 8/24/2011

I love the Purple. I took my girlfriend there for her birthday. I wanted it to be a special night. I made reservations for 7:00 Friday night. When we arrived they were busy and appeared to be over booked. When we were seated 20 minutes after our reservation we were immediately greeted by our server. He was very apologetic about the wait and brought us a complimentary H'orderve while we browsed the menue. They have a great wine sampler which we ordered along with our dinner. The food is good but not overely creative. Their wine list is amazing. The service is exceptional. Our server was attentive, friendly and funny. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a fun evening. more

Food so so, ambiance great, wine excellent 12/16/2010

Food was so so, had the mac and cheese which was not spectacular, had the wine flight that was super! (Pinot Noir, my fav). Ambiance is great, very hip and new. Packed place. I would recommend but better for after dinner drinks I think. more
