Puri, Veena, Md - Puri Pediatric Medical Group

We first visited Puri Pediatric when I brought home my adopted daughter from Guatemala. She was very ill, but it was my assumption that she was still adjusting to American foods. Fortunately, Dr. Veena with level of experience ran blood panels that helped reveal that my daughter had symonelia. I am convinced a less experience doctor would not have been as quick to diagnose the condition. As a new mom, both Dr. Veena and Hari Puri, were assuring and increased my confidence level as a new parent. My daughter is now 11 years old and struggles with Attention Deficit Disorder, Dr. Puri has worked very closely with me, and my daughter to find the right medication and treatment. The staff of Puri Pediatrics are also very caring and work very hard to schedule appointment that work for this very busy single mom, for which I am very appreciative. Whenever, given the opportunity I have always recommended Puri Pediatrics to my closest friends with children. more

My daughter always seems to get sick around 4pm or later , so many times on a friday.i have always been made so welcome by the caring staff esp roberta and bethanie who will ask me to come right in, i have been treated so warmly and never had to wait more than 10 minutes.all the staff it seems like is all trained towards excellent customer service. they will call in my medine. i use their email to talk to the doctor , i get propmt reply within a few hours via email. they inform me of all my lab tests via email. last ime wheni went my dughter had high temperature, i got a cll by the doctor next day to see how she was doing. i said to myself how luckyi am to have picked such a good doctor with great staff. one time i was rushed and i forgot my wallet, the staff talked to the doctor and said don't worry we will see you right away. i have moved far away and still travel 1 hour to come to puri pediatrics because they are worth it. Dr veena puri is so good , always ready to answer any and every questions i have. one time i had a long list of 15 questions, after that i can't believe she said is there any other question i can answer for you, because i don't want you to go home and worry,WOW!!!,i highly recommend her to all my friends and family, even strangers in the bart , i told them about her. thank you Dr. puri for all your excellent care. you are a true physician one can be proud of. keep up the good work , everyone at puri pediatrics. more

I have been taking my son to the Puri's for the last three years, they have been completely AWESOME! Totally focused on my child during our appts. Now that have a newborn again that is especially important.Dr. Cerrutti is also an excellent Dr.! My son loves to go to the doctor since they are all so great to him! The office staff is professional & polite, always willing to fit me in if I have a sick child. One review states that there was a long wait time, I would rather wait & have the doc's full attention! The doctors and the staff at Puri Pediatrics always put the well being of children first. My first visit, everyone has been attentive and considerate of my children's needs. Although the wait can be a little long sometimes, that's alright as I know they will be thorough with the patients. I am an extremely selective person and have never found Puri Pediatrics to be lacking. I would recommend this pediatric office to all my friends and family. I have 2 kids and I bring both of them to Dr. Puri's Clinic. Dr. Puri as well as his staff is very caring and attends them with love and affection. Dr. Veena Puri helped me with breastfeeding for my younger one and spends hours until I was comfortable feeding him. I wish I had similar care during my older kid's time. I wish there are more stars. We all expect support when our kid is sick. Specially from his doctor. Because she/he is the only one knows exactly what is going on, what to expect. We get confused even with what kind of dosage of the medicine we need to give, how frequently and everything. When you have the doctor who can provide all this along with proven knowledge and been practicing for many years, what else you want? We got everything I mentioned above from Dr. Veena Puri, Everyone becomes weak when our kids are sick and we loose our judgment skills and our thinking ability slows down. I called the Oncall doctor at middle of the night and I got the call back right away. It was Dr. Veena Puri. I was so happy that was herself calling directly, as i am so comfortable talking her and bother her with too many questions (please read my previous review) and she explained me everything so patiently, though I was asking the same questions repeatedly to make sure that I am doing things correctly. At the end I was so clear about what to do, what to expect and we were able to take care of our son very well. Next day, we got a call from the office to make sure he is doing fine. And by God's grace he is doing absolutely fine now. I highly recommend Dr. Veena Puri. Its one of the best decisions I made to choose her as my son's doctor. I love her! I give her hundred stars. more
