I had the WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER with 24Moving out of San Francisco. I was lied to repeatedly by the office manager and their service reps; they missed the pickup and delivery times BADLY; they sent ONE PERSON to move my stuff half way across the country and up three flights of stairs (oh, and they tried charging me for going up stairs even though their website and service reps they wouldn't; they violated our contract. Whatever you do: NEVER, EVER use 24Moving out of San Francisco. And think long and hard about doing business with this organization at all!!! more

Suspicious 10/3/2011

I was asked for a credit card number over the phone after receiving a low ball estimate. Since when does a reputable mover need a credit card deposit a week prior to providing the service? Why do all the 5 star reviews sound like they were written by the same person? more

Don't use these people 9/16/2011

This company low balled my estimate, then charged me double the amount. Never gave me a contract, date of delivery, receipt, charged my credit card before it was delivered, only gave me 24 hours notice, so that I couldn't be present when the stuff was delivered, contracted out with a third party who demanded cash, then threatened to charge overtime when the company couldn't get a credit card authorization to me. I am SOOOOOO frustrated, I hope this company goes out of business! Oh, and charged 400 for some extra bubble wrap and tape, when I had my own available! more

These guys were quick and efficient. They have it down to a system, so there is no down time that you end up charged for. The estimate was pretty close to actual time. The price was very reasonable. All of my items arrived SAFE and SOUND with not a scratch. They were very conscientious about noticing prior damage to pieces and noting it for me. ! more

24 Moving- Cheap Local Movers is very accessible by phone or email, so all the details of my move could be worked out before the big day. The moving team itself was very friendly - they loaded and unloaded everything extremely quickly, and were pleasant about doing so. Would definitely recommend Roadrunner Movers to others - they will take care of you and accommodate your moving needs! more

Miami Local & Long Distance helped move me with my company relocation. Sherry was so understanding, I had to change the date 3 times and all 3 times she did not give me any gridf. The driver Arthur also was nice, him and his crew was a pleasure to work with. I could not get better service. With my company a move a lot so take my word, they are great. more

Wonderful ! 10/5/2010

My family and I had such a great move last week with Miami Local & Long Distance! I was a little worried at first about some of the reviews so I called the local office and they explained that they are one of the busiest companies in the state and they have so many customers that they just can't keep them all happy even though they try so hard. we moved out of a good size house that we had been in for almost 10 years and I was worried that they were not going to be able to do it with 2 trucks but they did! I will use them again in the near future for my mother in law. more

24 Moving- Cheap Local Movers helped me take care of my small studio apartment move. I called a few movers, although they did not seem interested in my move ( I only had a few things that needed moved). The price was right and the movers were right on point. I'm glad I was able to afford professional movers this time. The price wasn't bad and of course it saved my back. Thanks 24 Moving more

I called 24 Moving- Cheap Local Movers after being referred to them by a close friend that had ""The best moving experience ever!"" With out a doubt my moving experience was as well. The guys were strong, fast, polite, real expert movers. They padded and shrink wrapped all of my furniture, and used dollies and lifting straps I have never seen, state of the art equipment that made my move go that much faster. My move was completed faster than I would have dreamed, they placed all of my items where I needed them to be. I really appreciate the good character and hard work of 24 Moving- Cheap Local Movers, I will recommend them to you and anyone else! more

Do not use this company! 7/23/2010

I was having a horrible time with the builder of my new home trying to secure a date to actually move in.. I kept having to change the move date with 24 moving and they were flexible but after about 6 date changes I felt bad so I told them I need to cx rather than rescedule the move until I have a firm date. Glen said that was fine he understood. Well when I checked my credit card the next day 24 Moving had charged $100 to my credit card for the cancellation. Thanks for telling me! If I had known I would have rescheduled! I thought I was doing them a favor because I kept having to change the date!! Bad business!!!!! Pros: Were nice in the beginning.. Cons: Bad business practices!! more

EXCELLENT MOVERS 5/29/2010

I have had some bad experiences with movers in the past so I did a lot of research before using 24 Moving. The quote I received was very reasonable and it was the price I was charged on moving day no extra hidden fees or surprise charges. The men arrived on time, were very courteous, professional and careful with my stuff. They were very friendly and did a wonderful job so I tip each of them 20% . 24 MOVING - THE BEST 5/16/2010

I had great experience with this company!! The crew arrived on time and got to work right away. They were incredibly careful not to damage my old/new apartments. The disassemble all the furniture that were too big , and wrapped them very nicely. When we got to my new home the movers unloaded everything pretty quick and reassemble what needed to be in the right rooms. They were fast and very careful, which is the most important things for me. They were affordable but also didn’t skimp out on anything to take away from a great move. My trip was absolutely painless, hassle free, barring a little rain everything went nicely and there was no damage to my items because the movers prepared everything like sure-fire professionals. The crew arrived on time, were thoughtful and considerate about the job. They began working immediately, worked efficiently and continuously until the job was done.
