Terrible...just terrible 9/1/2009

It took them three tries and a half a year to NOT fix my boat. After being lied to multiple times about when they would ""get to it""...Monday is never the coming Monday just so you know. Worst Sevice Ever 7/21/2008

I recently took my 2000 Roadstar in for a recall on the transmission. While it was in the shop I had a stage 3 kit installed. When I went to pick up my bike it was filthy, covered in oil, greasy hand prints all over it and oil dripping from the frame and a dent in my gas tank. I had another appointment so I had to leave, was told to just ride it. So the next morning I called and talked to Mark in service and told him my disappointment and that the moter was making alot of noise ( valve tapping, ect) he said I needed to bring it back in 500 miles for reajustment and oil change after breakin. I wasn't told that the day before I was told to just drive it. So I took it back in after about 575 miles and reminded him of the problems. After a week I called and was told they tried to contact me and it was finished. After arriving to pick it up and paying the bill, they couldn't find it, come to find out it was still in the shop being worked on. So I went out of town for a week and picked it up when I got back (still filthy and never washed). Engine still makes noise (was told thats how it is with the stage 3 kit), throttle sticks ( told nothing they could do about it ( brand new carb and intake), run rich and backfires thru carb, still have dent in tank, 2 days later riding to work the bolt backed out of the alt/starter drive gear because it was never torqued properly. So after $2500 worth of work I now have the worst sounding and running Roadstar that I know of. Thanks Purcells I wouldn't recommend you to work on a Tricycle. Also I wrote this same letter to Purcells and still haven't heard a word from them. If you want to waste your money go there otherwise find a place that will honor their work. Cons: No customer satisfaction what so ever. more

Yamaha Raider cant get straight answer on receiving parts 2/22/2008

I purchased a 2008 Raider at Purcells in Jax. The day I bought the bike the young sales told me that my parts would be in in about a couple of weeks, I knew this because I have dealt with Purcells in the past no big deal. This was in sept 2007, we are now in Feb 2008 and I still dont have my quick release back rest and have been given several dates as to when it will be in. And they still cant get a date. As of yesturday phone call Yamaha still has no release date for this item and Purcells has offered no compensation for my time and inconveience of me having to wait so long for a part that is advertised and is not disclosed as being on back order when I bought the bike, this is not good buisness or relations, They didnt even offer me a Helmet to ride it home. I am a retired Disabled Military Vet from Desert Storm to Bosnia and all after that till 2002. Pros: nice bikes Cons: service people are very young and seem to have not attended the MMC course for bikes they act like back yard mechs. more

Beware of Polaris lack of support. 8/24/2007

Purcell's has been trying to help me with my Polaris waverunner that has now been in the repair shop for over 4 months, the other area Polaris Dealer was rude and refused to work with me even though it is also a Polaris dealer. ( No bragging rights there!) Pros: Friendly staff in sales, support and service Cons: No support for Polaris products more
