Don't judge a book by it's cover!! The children are taken care of very well at at the PP I PROMISE you. My kids love going and maybe it's not the most updated in the inside, the staff is wonderful and that's what matters. As a mother of two I don't care if the walls are bright and the toys are the newest of the new. I care that my children are safe and being taken while im at work. I actaully think they are overly caring. They will call you with any little concern they have about my boys wether it's a little scratch or a slight stomach ache. As far as a reviewer saying the children sleep on the floor and aren't allowed pillows, that is totally FALSE. They sleep on cots and are allowed to bring pillows and sleeping bags. They are allowed to go to the bathroom whenever needed and please stop making things up because your child had a few acctidents, it happens!!!! And as far as the other reviewer saying they are the parents who let there child have there nuk after it's fallen on the flo more

I have been taking my son here for about a year now. He loves it and the teachers are great. If I had more kids I would not hesitate to bring them here either. I don't understand what the previous poster said about cleanliness, I have never noticed anything bad, and they have updated some of the rooms in the last year. I know they have a cleaning service in every night to clean the place head to toe. Just because the paint isn't the brightest colors everywhere doesn't make the place bad. The children's artwork covers the walls of every room and the halls.\r The kids do daily activities and get to play outside on a nice playground weather permitting. They are taught the basics in all subjects preparing them well for school. If you want kids to get a well rounded education in a clean, fun environment then take them to the Pumpkin Patch. more

I think this daycare could use a bit of updating in their room, cleanliness, and workers. The rooms could use a bit of updated, colorful paint. The place seemed a bit filthy. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my child there. Also, the workers should all be wearing some "Pumpkin Patch" logo, polo-style shirt for a more professional look instead of regular street clothes. Would not put my kid here. sorry needs a little work. more

As owner of The Pumpkin Patch, I would like to respond to the Anonymous review posted on 4/23/08. I can say that our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness. We are in full compliance with all state regulations for care and our long service teachers are fully qualified and committed to care for children. We offer activities and curriculum that are state of the art and I welcome any interested family to visit us at any time. more

We went in to look at the place and it was filthy. We didn't even want our baby to touch the ground it was so gross (and we are the kind of parents that let him have the pacifier after it's been on the ground). We also noted that an older kid was with the younger ones (as it was the end of the day) - that is, actually, against the law. The manager seemed nice but it was clear that the kids are not well taken care of. Also, the toys were so old - what is this, vintage? Go to Target and buy some toys for G-d's sake. The rooms were tiny and we simply felt sad for any kid who needs to be there. The staff seemed to care less and it seems that corners are cut. Shame on them. more

I would like to say that the Pumpkin Patch is a wonderful place to take your child age 6weeks to 6 years. They have many long term staff members, some as long as ten years, and that makes me feel reassured that my children are being well taken care of. They offer many fun activities for children and very flexible scheduling. (which lots of centers do not) They strive to meet the needs of each individual family, and just do a wonderful job. I would give the Pumpkin Patch a thumbs up! Way to go!!! more

I put my 2 year old in this center and they only cared about how many kids they can get into one classroom without extra teachers. They do not allow children to go potty when they have the need, they have to wait until there is a group that has to go which created my 2 year old to have accidents almost daily. The kids sleep on the hard cold floor w/sleeping bags (no cots) and they are not allowed to bring in a pillow. The teachers are more concerned with your personal life than watching your children. more
