Pump It Up

So angry! I don't typically write reviews but I felt that if you have impressionable children you should be wary of what plays on the loudspeakers while your children play. I realize that the staff is mostly teenagers who wouldn't bat an eye at the smut played on the radio but I monitor what my SMALL CHILDREN listen to on the radio and I don't appreciate them hearing songs like this. This is a sample of the lyrics to the song that played over the radio that was piped into the play area during my daughter's friend's 6-YEAR-OLD BIRTHDAY PARTY yesterday: \r Driver roll up the partition please\r Driver roll up the partition please\r I don't need you seeing 'yonce on her knees\r Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up\r We ain't even gonna make it to this club\r Now my mascara running, red lipstick smudged\r Oh he so horny, he want to f#$%\r He bucked all my buttons, he ripped my blouse\r He Monica Lewinski all on my gown\r Oh there daddy, d-daddy didn't bring the towel\r Oh baby, b-baby we slow it down\r Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up\r We ain't even gonna make it to this club\r \r I spent $245 on my daughter's 6th birthday party here in October, you'd think with all the money they're raking in they can subscribe to Sirious XM and play something from the kid's stations, since that's their TARGET MARKET! Great for a private party but terrible if you want to go during open play. There are many parents with older children who do not care to monitor their children. These wild kids make it very difficult to have younger 3-4 year old children play. The staff at pump it up is either not interested in or told not to manage the rougher play. The staff should be empowered to ask these parents to be ""parental"". If the parents of these wild children were more observant this would be a much more enjoyable place to take younger children. more

I'm only giving this place 3 stars because i had some issues with some of the staff i think i should bring up. My sister was the party mom for her 5 year son jon and she brought a ton of stuff and when we walked we were greeted by a very nice gentleman and he was carrying stuff in for my sister and her husband but while he had his hands full he was yelled at by the lady behind the counter about some wavier for the kids and he couldn't do anything about this because he was carrying boxes of chips,coolers, and goodies bags but he kept a level head and took care of everything for us.While he was carrying stuff this little Asian girl i didn't catch her name was playing with kids and the party didn't even start which was awesome because this gave me time to talk to all the adults at the party. After most of the guest arrived Dillon came up and asked us if we would like to get this thing started and the party had begun with a safety video. After the video he went through some announcements with us and talked to us about drop in an play days but after the announcement we headed towards the playroom. When in the playroom me and my sister were asked what music we would like. Dillon told us about our choices and turned on the tunes and ran off to start playing with the kids. He played none stop for almost an hour and the kids had blast the jumped on him and he took a beating from my son but he did an excellent job he conversed with the parents and made sure we were taken care of all while having a good time himself. The Asian girl played to with the girls at the party and everyone was tired by the time we went into the second room. In the second room we got a very informative rockwall demo from Dillon and he was goofing off with the kids waiting in line for the wall giving them silly nicknames the most personal part is when he helped my son get over his fear of the rockwall he help my son climb to the top on both sides. Now in the partyroom it was the generic experience I get every time we come but for once an attendant who is there gave us an awesome experience he is the only reason we may come back. Now with it being my sister birthday as a gift I was gonna pay for the party as a gift to her so when I went out there to pay the very snobby darkskined girl almost his-panic looking was playing on Facebook and she told me to hold on while instead of checking me out right away this was also the girl who yelled at Dillon about some silly waiver while he had his hands full. now being a human resources manager if this ever happened on the job they would be penalized that is unfair to other employees doing their job. I did give a tip to Dillon and the little Asian girl but no one else deserved it i'm not tipping for someone to play on the computer while others are working their butts off. All in all the playing part of the part was excellent if my son wants his party we want those two attendants again Dillon also kept the adults laughing with jokes as well big plus because i'm a sucker for comedians!!! more

Attented a party here and it was great. Pump It Up was very neat and clean. The staff was very knowledgeade and polite. Highly recommended. Would have a party here. more
