Their sandwiches are huge, juicy, and just the perfect amount of onions. Best to eat it there while its still fresh, so the roll doesn't get soggy. more

I grew up on Pudge's, and while I grant it's A LOT OF CHEESESTEAK FOR YOUR BUCK, it's relatively bland. GOD FORBID you should get one with sauce to go, because even in-house, the juice (grease) will soak your roll to falling-apart within a minute. Pros: overrated, lots for the dough more

The best, ever 9/22/2002

Words cannot describe...simply the best in the country. Don't buy into the hype of the ""other"" guys downtown, the best steaks are in this unassuming little place in Blue Bell. Little known fact: The reason US Healthcare (now Aetna) put their headquarters in the Philly area was because one of the founders was a HUGE Pudge's fan! Give it a try and you will understand. Pudge's steaks are old school chow. ton's of meat in a kickin roll. You won't need to eat for a week. killer greasy spoon atmosphere with no nonsense staff. Don't think you are going there for romance this is a feed trough plan and simple. Pros: food, food, food Cons: crowded at lunch more

If they sold cheesesteaks in heaven it would be a Pudges. Words alone cant descibe the experience. This place does so much business they are not even open Sun or Mon. more
