Recently, we had an incident where our brick mailbox was accidentally knocked over. We couldn't get anyone to come out because, I'm sure, it was a small job and no one wanted to waste their time on doing such a small job. It occurred to us that a wrecker service has the type of equipment for such a job. We called Puckett and they were out here in less than an hour. They set the mailbox upright and that solved the problem. A brick mailbox is no lightweight, so we certainly appreciate their service to us. more

I started using Puckett after being turned down by 3 other companies because I had a dog with me when I totaled my car and he was not allowed in the cab. Every time I've used them, they were on time, courteous, and professional. My car got towed to their lot after being totaled, and the guy even helped me lift the roof to get my belongings. Will use them anytime I need a tow in the future. more

We have called Puckett’s on multiple occasions, for lockouts, breakdowns, etc. They've always been fast, helpful and courteous. Certainly not at all what I expected from a tow truck service. more

I have the worst luck when it comes to cars. I had to have a car towed twice in two months because my family doesn’t realize that car maintenance is an essential duty of owning a car. Each time, Puckett’s wrecker arrived on time after I called and my spouse’s and my son’s cars were loaded carefully. You should have seen the look on my son’s face. It was priceless. The cars had no problems being towed to their location, and I feel the professionalism of the drivers serve them well in business. Puckett’s is reliable when you need your car towed. As for my family, I think they learned their lesson! more

I am very pleased with Puckett's service. Twice in the last month I've needed a tow and both times they got to me within the dispatcher's time frame. They were careful with loading my car and took it to my mechanic's shop. Both drivers were very professional. They have reasonable fees and great service. They've been in business for a long time, and I'm certain that because of their high level service they will be in business for years to come. more

saved me! 5/10/2012

They saved me from the side of the highway! My car died on the interstate and I used my cell phone to call them. They arrived fast and got me right out of there. I was getting nervous with all the cars going so I just waited in the car. Thanks for the much needed help! more

Paul started this business after being discharged from the Air Force after World War II. The business was moved from N.E. 2nd street in 1947 to the current location.
