Perfection!. These guys moved us from Fort Lee,NJ to Miami, FL and everything was PERFECT! Conscientious, hard working, great people, everything happened as it was promised. THE BEST! Thirty years of "stuff" was picked up, shipped and delivered in perfect time and condition. 5 stars PLUS! more

NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE PRUDENTIAL VAL LINES!!!!!!!\r \r This was the worst experience of my life!!!! Prudential Van Lines is an evil and deceitful company whose employees are truly horrible human beings and want nothing more than to take advantage of their "customers" and scam them for as much money as they can. Peter Susi and his partner in crime Jay are two of the worst people I have ever encounter in my life and try and deflect the fact that they are terrible at their jobs with humor and once they have you locked in the bullsh*t and horrible attitudes reveal themselves! Everyone from the OWNER to the BITCHY SECRETARY who doesn't do anything well except for being a B*TCH and being STUPID will do what they can to make your lie miserable and never apologize for it.\r \r I was quoted at a rate from Prudential Van Lines that was comparable to many other companies I researched and they seemed nice enough on the phone so I decided to use them for my move to Los Angeles from New York City. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF . I had a medical procedure which required me to relocate. My initial contact and Reservationist did a great job. She explained everything to me and scheduled my pickup date. She told me I had 30 days of free storage and I could call and make or change my pickup and delivery dates. The good service ended there. One person on the team they sent to pick up my thing spoke English. The team split up and some packed my garage while others were packing the condo. The team in the garage packed things I set aside for charity, relatives and to be thrown away together. They were going to leave things that were supposed to be packed. That doubled the price of my original estimate. When I contacted the office and told them they basically said too bad. During my calls I told them I wanted my things delivered on Or after July 14th. On Sunday July 9th (while out of town) I get a call from their delivery driver stating he wants to deliver on July 10th. I told him that was not my delivery date and I was away from my house until then14th. I called the Hackensack office on Monday and spoke with the dispatcher who suddenly forgot me telling him that I requested to have my things delivered on or after the 14th. I spoke with the manager who did not make an effort to resolve the issue. Instead the manager told me that My things would be put in storage and I would be charged a storage fee and redelivery fee of $750. I informed him that I was entitled to 30 days of free storage according to their contract and website. I also reminded him that it was his dispatcher that decided to have my things shipped earlier than I requested. Today is July 16th. I have not received my household goods and do not know where they are. I called the office at 9 am est and no one was there. I called again at 10 am and was told to call back at 11 am because the dispatcher was not in yet. I am filing complaints and taking legal action against Prudential Van Lines. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. more

Great company and I recommend. 7/5/2012

Very quick turnaround was the most pleasant part of my move. We planned it just right so I got my shipment in only 3 days. My move itself was pretty well executed. Very friendly to work with. They were a little bit more expensive then I was looking for but I am glad I treated myself and used them. I want to also thank Frank for his patience for dealing with my many questions. Great company and I recommend. more

These guys are great. I was worried that it would take longer than the 4 hours I was quoted and I would have to pay more money but these guys came in and took care of business. I was amazed at the efficiency with which they worked. I was on the third floor and moved a half hour away. They cleaned my old place out and had us moved in, in under 3 hours I was so happy!!! The guys that moved us were very polite and professional and needed little to no direction from me. more

Very Bad Service 3/23/2012

This mover would offer a low bid and the dates the consumers wanted, get awarded the move and then pick up the customer's household goods. After crating everything up and loading the truck, a new price would be delivered. It would be two to three times the original price, or more. more

Pack it they will move it save $$ 2/1/2012

My experience with Prudential Van Lines. First off moving is never an easy thing to do. But if you prepare yourself and have your items packed and ready to go, it will be a whole lot easier. Make your move easy for the movers by packing and sealing your boxes if you are able. So we decided to go with Prudential namely because of the good customer service by Jay Bell. He quoted to us a price and time and we were pleased with it. So we asked for the earliest appointment 8am - 9am. The movers were well on time. At first we did have a setback when the head mover said the move would take about 7 hours (we were quoted 4 hours). Consider $95.00 x 7 is a lot more than $95.00 x 4. The driver let us speak to Jay and Jay spoke to the driver and after a few moments the Driver said we will do our best. The time of the move did not begin until after the call. Great move! 1/20/2012

From the first phone call to Peter this was a great experience. He was kind and understanding in a tough situation. I had to delay my move and they were so accommodating. The day of the move the day of the move was stressful but the movers were so helpful and organized everything went smoothly. They went over and above to help with everything. Peter from Customer Service charged my credit card before I had a chance to approve the contract. Once I declined to use them, he said my card was already swiped and I was going to be charged a credit card usage fee, only to be refunded 95%. I asked why since I never signed anything. He called me up, all aggressive and pissy saying I could take it up with my credit card company and hung up on me. I later got an email that his manager authorized a full refund. Duh! more

I was so impressed with the way Prudential handled my move. Everything went so smoothly. Very one that I delt with, from the office staff to the moving team, was so professional and considerate. The fees were as quoted. I was even advised of ways to minimize costs. more

Exceeded Expectations =] 9/27/2011

Great experience with Prudential Van Lines. I just moved yesterday and it was such a breeze. The crew arrived promptly at 9am. And I was moved in by 11am. In fact, they got to my new apartment before I did with half of my belongings unpacked and ready to go! My biggest worry was my electric piano, but they treated my baby with such care : ) I would definitely use Prudential again for any moving needs and I'm telling all my friends too!! more

Best way to move! 8/4/2011

I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to services but I would recommend Prudential Van Lines to anyone doing a move. I moved from NYC to Albuquerque, NM. Everything was very organized and easy to keep track. The movers and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Using Prudential Vanlines was the best decision I made and I'm really thankful I found an honest mover. more
