I asked Aaron at Provident Jewelers to help me find the perfect diamond to build a unique and custom ring. I was looking for a heart shaped diamond that could be mounted in a Claddagh ring. He informed me that it may take some time locating the perfect diamond for this project. Less than a week later I received the call that he had located the perfect diamond. He had to build a custom mount for the diamond and the ring came out beautifully. The ring was the perfect engagement choice for my Irish wife of 8 years. I purchased a diamond ring.I found the jewlers to be exceptionally knowledgable, helpful and able to work within my budget. I worked wth the jewlers at Provident on creating the setting and again, I found them exteremly helpful and focused on meeting my needs both from a budget and from the perspective of and quality and customer service . I bought the ring and my wife receives many postive comments about the diamond and the beautiful setting.||[]||[]I decided to get the ring appraised by an independend jewler and was pleased to learn that the value was signifcanlty more than I paid at Provident. I could have saved myself a lot of time and research if I had gone to Provident first. We purchased a ring from them in April 2010 for $4876.00. I had problems with the ring, diamonds were falling out. They attempted to repair it twice, unsuccessfully. I took it to two other jewelers who advised me not to repair it again, it would be throwing good money after bad. They would not work with me, therefore, I took them to small claims court. I won a judgement against them for $5312.00. They have not paid me and they say they are going to appeal. They are dishonest people and I strongly urge you not to do business with them. I was recommended Provident from a friend but went to a few other stores first. I should have just gone straight to Provident. They showed the most expertise and professionalism by far and i feel i got paid way more than anyone else was offering. I'll go straight to Provident next time and would recommend the same to anyone that asks. Thanks Provident for a great experience all around. more
