Totally unethical company that is keeping our 10K deposit. Original lease proposal was reasonable and agreed to. \r \r We sent them a deposit, then didn't hear back for weeks....

Fast, Efficient and Effective!!! 2/29/2012

My business was in great need of upgrading equipment and Providence Capital found me the $$$$. I’ve been in business for just over 5 years and 3 years ago I was in need of expanding to meet the demand of my clients. After seeing how much money I was wasting in outsourcing sales, it became evident that I needed to upgrade my business and start production in house. That meant the purchase of new equipment… At the time, my cash flow wasn’t the best and qualifying with my local bank seemed next to impossible. After a few different attempts at other leasing companies and getting nowhere fast…. I called Providence and they got me financed in a matter of days. Yes Days!!! My new equipment landed on my floor the following week and we began generating new revenues almost immediately. I was surprised as to how easy it was to work with them. They found me exactly what I needed and made it very affordable. Providence was “Fast, Efficient and most importantly Effective”…. I’ve since done two additional purchases and will always be appreciative for their help. more

Professional and prompt 5/13/2010

I used to use several finance companies and I noticed that was creating more heacaches, not more options from my customers. I've used lrge banks from small loca leasing compnies. I tried Providenc Capital Funding 18 months ago when the economy tanked. My previous leasing company was turning down 70% of all my customers. When I spoke to a few other distributors they told me to call Providence and set up and exclusive account for y customers I sent them 3 credit applications and 2 were approved within 24 hrs. The rest is history. Great to work with Pros: Easy to work with and they are not pushy Cons: can't approve all my customers but majority more

Got me what I needed 4/30/2010

Providence Capital got me my new server and software. They told me they could do it within 24 hours.\r My IT guy was slower than what it took to get my lease approved. \r \r I will use them again. Pros: No hassle, done in 17 days more

They got it done 4/5/2010

I called a couple of banks and leasing companies. Nobody wanted to talk to me because I didin't have 2 years in business. Providence Capital Funding got me financing in 30 days. Rates were high, but it is all a write off anyway the way they set it up.\r They said they could get me better rates after my credit score goes up and I've been in business longer.\r I'll go back because they get it done. Pros: got me financing when no one else would Cons: high rates, but better than not getting it more

Understanding Business 2/27/2010

I have worked with Providence for about a year and a half, they help my customers obtain financing for the medical equipment we sell. Providence always lets me know where my deal is in the process and if our customer can get approved. This helps for a smooth order process with my customer. I've worked with other financing companies out there before and they don't take the time to understand our business and actually help us out. Pros: Good Communication, Detailed, Fast more

Buyer Beware!!!! 1/11/2010

Totally unethical company that is keeping our 10K deposit. Original lease proposal was reasonable and agreed to. \r \r We sent them a deposit, then didn't hear back for weeks. They finally responded by stating that the lender would not be able to do the deal as agreed upon and then required a 50% of total principal deposit (defeats the purpose of the lease). \r \r Now, after 6 months of back and forth and unresponse they are refusing to refund the deposit, saying they earned their deposit and that somehow we didn't agree to the terms.\r \r They also stated they would ""vigorously defend our position in Orange County Superior Court (the stipulated venue that was agreed to in the settlement). ""\r \r Cons: Purely unethical company. more

Most reliable finance company 12/14/2009

I've been in computer networking business for over 15 years. During those years, i've worked with over 8 different leasing companies including a few local banks. Providence Capital fought for my business and were able to structure an agreement that was not only competitive, but met my cash flow. They took the time to ask me pertinent information, time table, goal in paying off the lease, target payment to meet cash flow. My rep walked me through the entire process and updated both me and my supplier with turnaround until funded. I highly recommend using Providence. Their level of customer service is impeccable! Best lease company I've worked with 12/3/2009

As an owner of a body shop, I've leased a lot of equipment over the last decade. Providence Capital was by far the easiest to work with. They asked me my financial goals and put together a program for that was exactly what I needed, which I was pleasantly suprised about. \r \r As a customer, I expect quick, fast service and honesty. The provided all of this and I plan on working with them in several months when I get a new frame machine. more

Bait and Switch AGAIN! 10/6/2009

They basically lied to Financial Pacific (who were backing the lease) about what we wanted to finance. They have shady business practices and in the end took our deposit without merit. I would advise against using this company!! Pros: Absolutely none Cons: Took our deposit more

One of the best Leasing companies out there. 12/11/2008

I?ve used Providence Capital Funding for the last 4 yrs. on several equipment leases and working capital for all my IT equipment. Since then I have tried using one other finance company but the service and ease of using Providence didn?t compare. They are quick, easy to work with and have even let me consolidate two of my leases to one. Pros: Easy to work with and reliable. Cons: None. more

Avoid these people like the plague! They scammed us! 10/7/2008

We had the worst possible experience with these people.\r Leased $25,000 worth of equipement from Ofer.\r We were totally ""bait and switched"" (told one thing, then given different documentation) and then lied to. We (wrongly) trusted Ofer, and he completely screwed us. They sure know how to ruin a business relationship. \r \r Basically we were told that our business equipment could be purchased at the end of the lease for $1. However at the end of our lease we were told it would be $12,500. Even though we had already paid for the equipement in FULL + interest. These people are MAJOR SCAM ARTISTS. I would absolutely avoid them like the plague. There are plently of legit leasing companies out there, no need to deal with these SCAM ARTISTS. I hope this review saves at least 1 person from being scammed by this company.\r Cons: They will rob you. And then lie to you. more

Worst Service on the planet. They must be doing so well they dont need your business. 6/3/2008

my guess is all the reviews posting positve must be related to the company themselves. I tried to get loan there no problem there they approved on my end. Only problem was getting them to call me back and tell me it was a go because they do not call back as far as im concerned. Then after all that we head to escrow and guess what one week no communication from them nor any help making us feel comfortable with them. In a crunch at this point we moved on to other loan options. In the end they were much higher interest anyways but even then they didnt want my business. So in my opinion if you are in business to make money and get answers these are not the people to deal with and there are many out there willing to help Pros: it seemed painless at first but it was all a mess when i needed them and when it was in the works Cons: wasted several weeks of my time and almost made me lose out because they wouldnt get me info within 1 week time frame. thats not a lot to ask for more
