My bro and I had put some money down on some guns they said a few months and they'll be in, and after a year never got my gun in and no refund and now they closed shop and took our money! and the phone #'s disconnected! more

I ordered a gun from the crossed eye girled and she cant look or hear straight. She ordered me the wrong gun which I had to wait 2 weeks for only for it to be GREEN! Then them slimey jerks would not refund me my money when I clearly stated I didnt order the gun. DO NOT! Use them. I really hope & pray that their store is shut down. Its ridiculous! There is a reason the owner is referred to as, ""Rip Off Red."" He is obnoxious and lies continuously. Believe what the others have said. This guy will tell you what you want to hear just to make a sale. When the item is bought or ordered, he refuses to refund your money when things don't go as he promised. I've been shopping at PRODEFENSE since 2001 and always get great.service. Some of the new employees have to ask, but they try to please the customer. They had 50 round boxes of duty ammo when noone else did and the owner gave me 10% off my purchase. They have AR15's in stock and some semi-auto 308's too. I wouldn't believe everything you read. A friend ordered a gun and was told it would take 4 months to arrive. After 10 months, and numerous demands for either the gun or a refund, they said they would not give a refund and the gun would not be arriving any time soon-would be at least 2 more months. Law suit has been filed. What a coincidence, as soon as they were served with the suit the gun arrived. Lawsuit still pending. Cons: They lie, don't deliver, won't give refund more

Where do I start......... I had some sights installed on my Glock and the ""tech"" started whailing away on my gun with a hammer....A HAMMER!!!! Top gun brands new and used. Rifles, shotguns, knives and uniforms including tactical boots. Special orders and gunsmith available. Reasonable prices. Some helpful employees. Worth a visit. I first went in with my wife looking for a gun for her. Stood around for 30 mins. in front of the gun display case while an old man walked all around without even acknowledging our presence. Finally I got the attention of the gunsmith; he turned out to be very pleasant to deal with. Even tough we did not find a pistol that was a ""Fit"" for my wife; I was shown a XD SC that I really liked. Unfortunately they did not have the caliber I wanted (.40) in stock. I went back a couple of days later ready to place an order for the out of stock XD40 SC, again, stood around waiting for help. This time there was a small crowd in the store. One girl trying to help everybody and the old man walking around like he lost something. I left and went to The Arms Room in League City. I was acknowledge as soon as I walked in and serviced promptly even tough they had a small crowd. I paid a bit more for the pistol but they had it in stock. I've yet to find a gun for my wife but that's more because she's not into guns. The guys @ The Arms Room recommended a Ladies Only hand gun class @ PSC Shootin in Friendswood. We'll see how things go after that class. I still go to Prodefense, but I don't wait around like most of their customers. If they are busy I just go elsewhere. I called this morning about a specific Glock part and was informed that they had one in stock. I asked for the part to be held for me and was told it would be waiting for me when I arrived. I drove from the north side of Houston (a 70 mile round trip) only to be told no one knew anything about the part that was supposedly being held for me nor did they have the part I wanted in stock. The guy behind the firearms counter seemed a little annoyed to have to help me. I drove back to my side of town and ordered the part from the internet. If you are looking for boots or 511 pants they seem to have a lot of stuff in stock, however, if you are a law enforcement professional and want something specific, don't waste your time with these guys. I paid $220.00 on Saturday, February 9, 2008 for a gun order that was not in stock. On February 15, 2008 I cancelled my order due to inconsistent and misleading information from your sales representative. I was promised by your staff that my gun would be ordered and would take no longer than two (2) days for delivery. I contacted your staff on Thursday, February 14, 2008 regarding my order and I was told by your staff that the gun would not arrive until Monday because of night sites and something about the type of automatic weapon. Again, inconsistent, misleading information and ?lies?. The gun order for the Kimber pro-tactical II gun has ?night sites,? so it?s unclear why anyone would be confused about the type of automatic weapon I ordered unless your staff failed to place the order in a timely manner, or failed to order the correct weapon. Nonetheless, I informed your employee on Friday, February 15, 2008 that I wanted to cancel my order. I then said, I wanted my money back and I was told I would have to wait until Monday. I arrived at your store on Saturday, February 9, 2008 with my receipt. I requested a refund of my money and I was told no refund. No explanation, just that ?Pat? said we are not refunding your money. The receipt states that no refunds on always and special custom orders. The gun I ordered is not a custom or special order item. The gun was ordered because you did not have one in stock, but it is an item that you carry as stated by your staff. more
