I received a postcard marked with a red "x" for service on my R.O system. I made the appointment and the day before the appt,. my disposal unit started making weird noises. Well, the gist of all this is, the R/O should not have been marked as the card was for an a/c check ( we use another service for that and it had just been done!) . The R/O is not due for service until Nov. However, the tech took the time to see why my disposal was making a strange noise and found that a piece of soft plastic package wrap from a package of ribs (about the size of a band-aid )had apparently fallen into the disposal and was trying to go someplace. Once he removed that unwanted and unknown item, the disposal ran just fine. As my R/O was the reason for the service call and that actually was an error, he said he would not charge me for the quick "problem solve" on the disposal. Thank you Proskill - I will continue to refer you to those who want a reliable plumbing service. See you in November for the R/O service.
