SHOVED MY 73 YEAR OLD MOTHER into the wall today when she asked for her hard drive back. My mother took her computer in after her computer crashed. She was told there would be a 65.00 charge. After finding out there would be an additional 165.00 plus other additional charges that they would not disclose, she asked to have her hard drive back (willing to forgo the original 65). The technician refused and SHOVED her into the wall. She had to call the police. DO NOT GO HERE!! more

Took my mini laptop in for an estimate for repairs & as with any store you are to pay an initial fee for the assessment of repairs, which in this case was $65, not a problem. During this visit I said several times that I only wanted an estimate of repairs & once notified I could make a decision as to dumping more money into a inexpensive lap top. About a week later I was notified by the store for pick up, when I arrived I was told my repairs would be $150! So here we go...long story short, I have wrote letters to the CA Atty Generals office, the BBB and now writing reviews. I agreed to pay them $25 for the repairs but now they are saying I have to pay $50, the last time I was in which was May 31st, the owner was yelling at me and was upset due to me contacting the BBB and the Atty Gen's office, to the point that he slammed his fist down on the glass counter. My question is ""Why should I have to pay for unauthorized repairs?"" Now I don't have a lap top because of their unethical business practices...it's the principal of it. Don't do business with them! I expect most of the great reviews are written by them as well. more

I have been ordering from Pro Computer Center. for quite sometime now and they provide very fast and reliable service. When I put in an order, I get the equipment the next day and in excellent condition. They provide reasonable prices and exchange defective items with ease. I am in the middle of my work when I noticed that my display is acting really weird and I got scared that my computer might crash so I immediately turned it off and called several computer places near my area and they advised me to change the graphic card. Since I am not a computer expert, I went to several places to check for the availability and type of graphic card that can accommodate my computer since it?s a little bit old. I found out from one computer store in Santa Monica Blvd. under the name of PRO Computer Center that they have the part that I am looking for. After buying it from them, I asked one of my tech-savvy friend to help me install the graphic card but I encountered the same problem again. I immediately called PRO Computer Center and they told me to bring the computer so they can check it out. Upon checking it, they just did some adjustments and it took them just 5 minutes and since it was very simple to them, they even told me that\r they will just take back the graphic card and not charge me with anything. I was really surprised because aside from the fact that they did it so fast, they are very considerate with clients especially like me who doesn?t know that much on computers. It was really a relief for me and I was treated really nice and professionally and I will recommend all my friends to them for their computer needs. Thumbs up for PRO Computer Center! I seriously doubt the highly positive ratings on this site. The poor grammar make it sound like they are done by foreigners paid by this company to write positive reviews... or done by the company itself, since they always say repairs were done for great prices or less than competitors' prices rather than giving hard numbers which a reader might be able to use to gauge the true price of things at this store. \r \r I brought in a computer to be fixed and it took over a week for a diagnosis. When the diagnosis finally came back there was no quote... it was said that they couldn't fix it there but my computer could be shipped to San Jose if I paid $39 shipping. San Jose labs would then tell me how much it would cost to fix. Did I really want to sink another $39 in addition to the diagnosis just to find out how much it would cost to fix my computer? Instead, I took it elsewhere where a computer repair shop in Hollywood diagnosed and fixed my computer in two days.\r \r Beware of coming here. Even when I was in the store, there was an upset customer who was told his computer was ready but they didn't have all his components so he was asked to come back in a few days. Cons: Takes a long time just for diagnosis... and unable to fix computer. Other place does it in two days. more

The staff at Pro Computer Center was extremely helpful and walked me through each step of the process. They couldn?t have been more accommodating and even gave me one of the services free of charge. I recommend Pro Computer Center to everyone I know for their IT needs. Pros: Fast turnaround time! Very Affordable prices and very friendly staff. more

I am a frequent computer user that needs a lot of repair on my\r systems. I have G5 that I use for graphic design and It had a problem\r with the operating system. I brought it to Pro Computer Center and\r the fixed my problem within two days and backed up my data that I\r needed to keep. I upgraded my ram, hard drive , and it was a fraction\r of the price that Apple wanted to charge. When I got the computer back\r it worked great and I have not had any problems. I also needed an\r external hardrive and they gave it to me for the right price. Pros: Thumbs up! more
