JOB WELL DONE! 10/15/2009

I heard about this company after an extensive search on google. I was about to go with someone else but stumbled across their web page. Thier prices were a lot better than what Best Buy had quoted me and they had photos of other wall mounted television jobs on their website that I liked. Matt and Kenny from Pro Audio Video came out to my house after we set up an appointment and installed my new 42 samsung above the fireplace and hooked up my surround sound system. I have to say that it looks amazing! I couldn't be happier with this company, I would suggest they find ways to advertise more because they were difficult to find. Pro Audio Video installed 2 garage door openers at our house. Set up of the appointment was easy, i just bought the installation through Sears and the installation company contacted me that same day to set up an appointment. The next day a technician came out and installed the opener, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and fast. This company seems to be very efficient and has excellent employees working for it. I plan on hiring them to install a TV above my fireplace soon so I can have a football EXPERIENCE with the family on Thanksgiving. They did a great job. Pros: friendly and professional more

I Had an appointment set up with Best Buy and they told me it would take a week to get the installation done. I searched around and found Pro Audio Video here on City search read their reviews and decided to call to see if some of the reviews were true. I left a message on the voice mail and received a call the next day. Matt was great on the phone and even greater at the time of install he went over and beyond the job description. I am very pleased. Please read the comments on the bad reviews and look at the picture selected these guys are full of them self's. Matt was a great installer and would work with them any time. they protected my floors with a droop cloth and vacuumed after they were done. small company but great service. they were fast but very thorough. the owner knows his stuff. he installed a power bridge that helped to protect my TV. he told me the advantages of having him install this power bridge rather have an electrician install a power outlet. ask about it i am shure he will tell you all about it. Matt and Kenny was great from phone call to install. i called Pro Audio Video to get the 200.00 dollar tv install that they advertise on Google and was very pleased. after i understood the package (basic on wall install) that they was selling i wet ahead with the install. i paid on their web site and they called to scheduled my appointment and my tv was up the next day. they even programed my cable box remote to work my tv. they were great. i do not know what the other guys are talking about Pros: the price never changed after the intinal quote. Cons: i wish i had bpught a bigger tv more

Owner, Offensive Attitude Overshadows with Expertise 9/30/2009

The owner seems to know his stuff, but he gets an attitude at the slightest question or objection. It was his cynicism and track record (CitySearch, Google Local, and several other sites) of having such an attitude that caused us to go else where, and when we notified him of our concerns, instead of owning up and being reassuring, his attitude got worst. We could not trust our TV Installation with a company that behaves this way, because we might get irritated and leave the job undone, yet demand full pay. Proceed with caution. Excellent work and customer service 9/18/2009

I used pro audio video for a tv installation over my fireplace and also purchased a surround sound installation through them. The owner/installer Matt Harvey even programmed my remote and showed me how to use it, he even went so far as to write the instructions down for me. The entire installation went very smoothly, from scheduling the appointment to instructing me on how to use my new equipment. He was very professional and the installation looked beautiful. Obviously he has a lot of experience doing this sort of thing and it shows in his work and exceptional customer service skills. I love my new entertainment system and I don't think I could have gone with a better company to install it. I have recommended him to a couple of my friends who also had good experiences with him. very poor quality of work and bad customer service 6/3/2009

This company was referred to me from Sam's Club installation services. They are subcontractors for company called NEW Installation Services, which is contracted with Sam's club. They are the only company in VA state to provide services through Sam's club, so they have no competition and that makes them very arrogant and unquestionable. The owner Mr Harvey provided services for Wall mount TV and speaker installation. I paid almost $1000 for the both on line to Sam's club.(that's outrageously high) He was very nice in beginning to schedule and providing informations and list of the right things I needed. When he came to install he showed very substandard Customer Service . When I asked him some details about site of speaker installation (over the phone)he became very irritated and rather than answering me satisfactorily , he stated that I was interrupting his work and he would charge me $50/ hr extra if can't finish his work on time. second, he briefly explained to my wife on 5 min about the syatem( instead of 30 min as it says ). He didn't care for my wife getting late to p/u my 4 yr old son from day care, instead he insist her to take call from his supervisor from Sam's to give rating for his work. Same day the speaker he installed fell and to my surprise i found Big Hole on drywall about 2 inches diameter for a small cable to fish in, and it was on both front speakers. I tried to contact him next day and left massage for Mr. Harvey and later I complained to sams installation Customer service. When I called to complain about it, no supervisor or manager was available to speak to me and I left massage to call me back ASAP. Later when Mr Haevey called me back, he was very irritated and rude to me. I told him about the issue and told him that I will talk with sams club and they will take care of my damage and fix the problem . But Mr. Harvey insist that he has to come to my house and take pictures for his insurance , which I denied. He later put me on hold and get his supervisor on other line and insist that I would talk with his ( mr. harvey's) supervisor in his presence on the conf call and I refudes that also because I already had left massage and complained abiut the problem. Until now it was just abot poor quality of work and customerservice. but Mr Harvey pused this to the extrem. When I denied to talk on conference call with his manager he get very upset and told me that he was recording that call and it was my only opportunity to discuss about it. I told him nicely that he provided the service and he was done , next anything related with that I would take care of it with Sams Club since I bought this installation pakage with them. While talking to him I just asked him who was the owner of the ProAudio Video company?. Mr Harvey very arrogantly replied that he was the owner and he makes more money than me as a physician. That told me everything about him, his company, his work ethics and how Mr Harvey value his work and customer satisfaction. He didn't value customers or there needs and dissatisfaction of his own work. Rather than finding the solution he tried to cover up and showed attitude!! If Owner of the company is like this what you expect from rest of the company staff. After this incident I have come to know amazing details about the Parent company NEW which has nationwide contract for Sam's Club . I would not recommend this company to anybody who value principles, customer service. All Sam's club members you watch out when you order any installation on line because in whole state of VA this is the only company contracted to provide service .
