Trustworthy 5/27/2013

Reasonable prices and honest work. We've been with them for about 5 yrs. Wish we would have found them a decade earlier than that. It would have saved us a lot of money from unnecessary "repairs". They've done several Purchase Inspections at a great price when we were looking for a "new" vehicle. We were able to avoid purchasing several lemons. more

Trust these folks! 2/10/2011

HONEST AND DEPENDABLE. My husband and I will go out of our way to take our vehicle to them (even though there are mechanics that are closer). Every time they've repaired one of cars, it stayed repaired. Sometimes the repair cost more than what we had hoped; other times it was a lot cheaper. But it is ALWAYS good work. more

The owner is on site and they stand behind their work. They have replaced intake manifold gasket that was leaking. Repaired frozen brake line with caliper siezed to drum and will guarantee their work for 90 days. Wonderful place to do business. Takes appointments and kow their customers. more

Great service, exceptional customer relations with me and my children and grandchildren. Can work on newer vehicles and the grandchildren's 1980's oldies. Always quote prices ahead of work, if over $100. Have them do brakes, radiator, computer, transmission, engine and they handle them all with great support and guarantee their work. more

Privitt Auto Svc Ctr is Outstanding anywhere 6/27/2009

Outstanding anywhere, a Godsend for me. Made a stranded out-of-towner welcome, shopped for best priced parts alternatives (unheard of in auto repair business), explained all the options for my approval, expedited repair and priced it all so fairly that I went with the best-fix option. Also watched other customers being treated very well. If I lived in Columbus I would immediately stop crawling under my own car and trust these guys to do exactly what I needed. BTW: my problem was a blown A/C clutch and bearing known to me only as no cold air and deep knocking noises with A/C on or off. I had checked the internet and found the parts to be very expensive, but I was going nowhere until fixed so was primed for a first rate fleecing. What an extraordinary surprise Privitt turned out to be! more

Privitt Auto, honest and does great work 5/12/2006

Privitt auto service does great work and they are honest as well. Which is unusual in this day. The family run business, grandfather, father and son, will look at your car and give you a fair estimate for service. If you decide to have the work completed by Privitt Auto, they doe a quick and good job with your car. Then they explain everything they?ve done. PROS: Gerat service, reasonable prices CONS: Might need to wait a day or two for parts or because they are busy. more
