A great local watering hole, with good food. 8/8/2006

This is a great place to hang out with your friends. They have a comfy back patio with games. Veggie burgers (and portabello mushrooms) for the vegetarians, and hot habanero burgers for the adventurous. They also have traditional items like fish and chips, and bangers and mash. My husband used to get cravings for the bangers and mash! Wash it all down with a pint and be happy. They have cider, but it is not on tap. It would get 5 stars if they had draft cider! more

A Place Where People Seem to Know Each Other 1/16/2006

My friend met his wife here, and I have met a few locals myself. Good people come here to have a bite to eat and a beer, maybe see live music on a Tuesday or Thursday night when they come. They have a great game of darts, and a macho menu that features a hot habanero hamburger, yikes! The beer battered fish and chips are not bad, but the happy hour is better. An interesting place. more
