Good french toast. And the servers left me a little note saying that my requested substitution wasn't available - at least they let me know :) more

Great french toast! Thick slices and soft texture. And the servers left me a little note saying that my requested substitution wasn't available - at least they let me know :) more

do not make order specifications, the cook takes it to extremes! A dry scramble came as a burned mangled crepe-like egg. A soft scramble came raw and watery, actually dripping. waste of organic products. I used to love this place, great pricing but something has changed. Not for the better. more

RANDOM BUT URGENT VISIT, WELL WORTH IT 4/2/2011

So this review is only for the alteration services... I was in town for a my cousin's wedding and I flew in the night before the reception. I was one of the bridesmaids and since she ordered the dresses for all of us, I wasn't able to try it on until I got into town. Long story short, the dress was ONE ENTIRE SIZE too big for me!! So I'm freaking out thinking I'm going to look like a complete idiot at this wedding and I realized that I could try to get it altered. I was staying at my sister's apartment near this place and it was the first alteration place I could find. I ran in THE MORNING OF the reception day explaining my story and the front desk guy asked the alteration lady to help. She lead me downstairs where there was a private changing room. She was quick, told me to put the dress on, pinned here and there, asked if this was what I wanted the dress to fit like, and then told me to take it off. I explained that I needed it by 4pm and she said it shouldn't be a problem. 4pm rolls around and I go to pick it up, go downstairs again to put it on... and she worked a MIRACLE in only a few hours!! Great alteration service and the morale of the story.. I didn't look like an idiot at the wedding! I looked stunning actually ;) more

Reliable neighborhood cleaners 2/11/2011

I've lived in the area for 15 years and this is by far the most reliable cleaners. I've tried other spots but I just trust this place more than others. I've been getting my laundry and dry cleaning done here forever and it's always easy and hassle-free. My laundry is always ready on time no matter which day I bring it in. You should expect your laundry to be done within 1-2 days depending on how heavy your load is. The service is also good, they have a computerized system so getting in and out is a lot faster ( remember back in the day when everything had to be hand written). Definitely a place I would recommend for reliable and great services. more

VERY DEPENDABLE CLEANERS 1/25/2011

A friend of my recommended Prince Street Cleaners last year. I went to Prince Street Cleaners one late afternoon because I need to do a lot of stuff during the end of the at work. I left 2 bags of laundry and 3 winter jackets and I told the chinese guy who works there that I need my clothes on Saturday morning. On the day of my pick up, my clothes were ready. Before I left the cleaners I checked everything and to my surprise they did a good job. My clothes are super clean. The chinese guy that works there is always smiling and very helpful. more

My clothes are white like snow, cleaned like new. 1/19/2011

Some cleaners may not charge you for the bleach, but are they really bleach it for you? a bleach service should not be valued for the cost of the bottle. The whole process are color sorting, seperat washing with bleach and detergent, seperate drying, finally bag it. You know what I mean if you ever do your own laundry. Also their dry cleanings are as goog as their alterations. I am glad that this cleaner is in my neightborhood. They are responsible! more

Best Cafe in SoHo! 8/31/2009

I ordered the marinated chicken sandwich on a baguette and it was superb. The chicken was juicy, the baguette was French-quality, and the cilantro aoili was the perfect accompaniment to a masterpiece of a sandwich. My friend ordered the ratatouille and goat cheese sandwich on sourdough. The flavorful combination of rich ratatouille and creamy goat cheese was brilliant! And the iced chai is perfect--not too sweet, not too spicy. The server even made sure that the chai's were made with our milk of choice (my friend then requested soymilk). Overall, a wonderful lunch at a very accommodating cafe. Pros: great service, fair prices, extensive menu Cons: no kids menu more

Done on Time 2/10/2009

I just found this small but reliable and fast dry cleaning & laundry not long ago. It's also very convenient because I can always drop my laundry on the way to work and pick them up the next day on my way home. Very friendly service and all my laundry is always done on time.\r Pros: on time more

Best BURGER it town 5/30/2008

I'm was shopping in NOLITA , on friday, when I discovered a great cafe. I had their Prince burger. It was juicy and fool of flavor. They use herb mayo, absolutely to die for. Perfect hand cut fries too. Triple berry smoothie was fantastic also. Everything on the menu looked great. Pros: great value Cons: no alcohol more

Disappionting 5/24/2008

I have been here 3 three times now for lunch/brunch because I work so close by. Every time I go, the food gets worse! The servers are friendly, but very slow. I definitely do not recommend sitting next to the kitchen in the back of the restaurant. It gets really stuffy back there and there is a cook in the kitchen that is always yelling. Everything on the menu sounds really good and the prices are so reasonable, but don't be fooled! The omelettes are boring and runny. The pasta is heavy and bland. The falafel burger is dry. The pancakes are raw in the center! If you do find youself at this little cafe, stick with the basics: a cup of coffee, soup and a sandwich. Pros: The prices are very reasonable Cons: The food is a let-down more

Phenomenal Coffee 12/17/2007

In a city where the competition seems to be the next best cup of espresso-based coffee, its nice to stumble across a place that has incredible ""cup"" coffee (from a standard drip coffee). Not advertised as such, but this is the first cup of coffee that I've had in awhile that just makes you stop your conversation, take another sip, and go ""wow, that's good."" Highly recommended. And free coffee by the cup prior to 11AM on weekdays and weekends. The fritata and blueberry pancakes are phenomenal, but the banana pancakes are the coup d'etat - incredible in both presentation and flavour/taste/consistency. more

The cafe Nolita has been waiting for! 9/24/2007

As a Nolita resident, I've grown tired of the trendy hipster spots like Gitane and Habana. After coming home recently from vacation, I noticed that Panino Sportivo had been shut down, and Prince Street Cafe had taken it's place. I went in yesterday as a skeptic, but trust me, this place is here to stay. I ordered the carrot ginger soup (absolutely amazing) and the Shrimp Wrap (again... sooooo good). Apparently former exec chef Gary Volkov from OIBL is the owner along with former colleague Konstyantyn. OIBL, its your loss. From the cozy decor to humble (although obviously inexperienced) waitstaff, I can tell this place is going to become a second home for me. I came back today (talking advantage of that wifi) to enjoy a cup of coffee and some bread pudding (cinnamon and chocolate... wow), listening to the staff, the locals, and watching the chefs interact with people, telling stories and thanking the customers for trying them out. So refreshing. Although there are definately some kinks they need to work out, the nice thing is ....it's almost a family environment here. One that I'd like to become a part of. I'll definately be back. Pros: Cheap, Friendly, Great food, And Relatively Unknown Cons: Inexperienced Staff more
