Primo's Tex-Mex Grille

Primos's has always been a Tuesday night endulgence for me between the hot cars and beautiful women or was it beautiful cars and hot women? Anyhow... Just when I didn't think it could get any better they go and put it on the lake ! That mixed with the upscale ambiance and TINMAN tearin it up behind the bar is a great combination. Just walked out of the Bass Pro shop and was hungry decided to go in and have a try , it was late but they were happy to serve me . Big Place had the Shrimp Mesquite , pricey but good . Will come back Pros: Great Shrimp Mesquite Cons: Closes early more

Yeah everyone it's so great because they are sitting on the patio getting drunk. Don't go there to eat, the food terrible, small portions and way overpriced. The service is the worst I ever had ! besides it taking 20 minutes to get a glass of water my server brought my lemon in his bare hand. Then when our food was delivered after another 45 minutes, the persons hair went into our food that was on they tray resting on her shoulder when she turned her head, asked to see a manager and we were told they were too busy When we left the managers were in the restaurant watching the hockey game the inside of the restaurant was completely empty. Called GM he was too busy to listen a blamed all on the staff this is CLEARLY an upper management issue when you can't speak with a manager and the GM doesn't seem to care either, of well whats the loss of another 10 customers! more

Great place for happy hour and yummy ritas.....patio is wonderful with the view of the lake. Live music on the weekends. Lots of fun.... Pros: fun crowd and great patio Cons: can't say anything bad more

The worst service ever...from the time we arrive at 4:30 pm and were ignored by the three people standing at the hostess stand. So we went in an looked for the group we were looking for. We had made reservation earlier in the week for 24 people. we were given a table for 16 and one server. We asked several times for extra tables and chairs finally got them. Needless to say it was not a good evening. Food was ok but way over priced.. i think they are charging for the view of the lake. Pros: nice building Cons: worst service more

We are new to the Dallas area from the Houston area and have been longing to find a really good Mexican or Tex Mex restaurant in our area. We were excited about Primos opening up just across the lake. My husband and I met for dinner there. By the way, we LOVE margaritas. The service was great, the atmosphere was comfortable, the view of the lake was awesome, the food was ""ok"" and the margaritas were disappointing. Sorry to say, but they just weren't good at all. We returned them to our waiter and had a beer instead. We won't go back for a long time. We always give new places a second chance, so maybe we'll try them again in about a year. A friend of mine, said the exact same thing about their experience. Get those margaritas right and we'll be back for sure!
