I just tried Prime Catch this evening and I'm trying to figure out what all the whining is about here. It was good and I'd go back. Was it perfect or top-notch? No. Was it very good and good enough to go back again? Yes. Father's Day so it was busy. I had stuffed shrimp. I will say that there were only 3 and for the price, there could have been at least one more. But then again, if you include the salad and side dishes, I don't know if I could have eaten another one anyway. Just for the price, they could have included 1 or 2 more. But the taste and cooking was one of the best stuffed shrimps I've ever had. Both my dinner companions had the shrimp scampi over pasta which they both said was excellent. In their case, 5 large shrimp (too much to finish).\r \r Service was good, but at times ... it took a long time for the waitress to come back (after leaving the check, e.g.). But the service was attentive, water was refilled without asking, another glass of wine was offered, etc.\r \r It is pricey, but the food was very good and it would be worth going back to. more

Very arrogant, condescending people. Too many places, including exceptional places where they want your business, so go anywhere else. The food is mediocre as is the service and they charge way too much for way too little and they really don't care anyway...which is the real problem. I will not be back. more

Prime Catch is in a great location - on the intracoastal. However, you may like it best if you are 90 years old, into bland boiled vegetables and half cooked sloopy fish dishes. The potato gratin was greasy..\r \r The food was done extremely carelessly - and I wish I had followed my first instinct when I saw the crowd inside.. But the view is nice...but the food is clearly not worth the money! more

Unless you take advantage of their early bird or specials menu this place is a bit overpriced. That being said the fish we tried was very good. Enjoyed the crab topped yellow tail snapper; our friends liked their sweet potato encrusted grouper. Specials portion are small but fine with green beans and salad. Also liked the stilton blue salad worth the extra $2.75 if you're a blue cheese lover. more

Love the food and environment but the hostess tends to be rude. This had happened twice and many I know won't return -too many in the area. She did say business has reay increased in last two years but no reason to send us away more

On the water, huge place really good seafood, ahi tuna is very good, great onion soup, nice salad entrees, and much more. Good friendly service. My favorite place in Boynton. more

Great seafood and ambiance. The food was outstanding but the service just a bit lacking. Had to ask a couple times for some more bread and had informed the waitress that it was my wife birthday. The only thing we received was a happy birthday wish from the waitress when we left. This isn't an inexpensive place and they force you to use their valet parking but the seafood is very fresh and good and the setting quite lovely. In our party of four we enjoyed the Oysters, Salmon, Trout and Tilapia, all cooked perfectly but again the service was just marginal. more

It was our anniversary dinner and Prime Catch came highly recommended. For an upscale restaurant, why do you serve soda in a bottle? Tacky? I don't often eat steak and when I want my fillet minion to melt in my mouth. It didn't. The key lime pie was just ok. BUT before the check came my stomach started rolling in protest and off to the ladies room I went. Sorry, I hate sharing this but......\r \r I called the restaurant the next day and spoke to both Maria and the Manager Gail. All I was told was, "We served three fillets and no one else got sick." Ok, but I did! So $100 later, I am still queezy and next year we go somewhere else! \r \r Not worth the money! more

Had dinner with friends at Prime Catch tonight. It was my second visit. Both times were disappointing. I ordered grilled scot. salmon. Another friend ordered stuffed talapia. There was drama in the presentation [I always enjoy watching someone try to eat neatly stacked skyscraper food (stuffed talapia)]. The grilled scot. salmon was pedestrian at best....and the portion size was so small that I had to stop at Burger King on the way home. While the staff was very attentive to make sure they could sell another glass of wine, they could never find a way to refill the bread basket. All in all, it's pricey and a good-fit for the pretentiously un-hungry. more

Overpriced and underwhelmed. Fish and chips, all greasy batter---where is the fish? Service was great , view was awesome but save your money. This was our second visit and both times the food was uneven from dish to dish. Don't waste the time. Not worth it. more

The food is fairly good... it's just not worth the cost.\r A smallish piece of grouper is just not worth $26.00 ... in addition to another $5.00 charge for the 2nd side dish.. (you only get one with an entree).\r Lots other restaurants in the area put out similar or better product.. and do not charge as much. more

It looks like a big house converted into a restaurant. The place is great. Very big, you can eat inside, outside or upstairs. I felt like I was actually in Florida when I ate here, not like these other places with all the crazy art work and sophistacted look. (Which is also very nice, but it's nice to go to an old school Florida style place to eat). The view is beautiful, right on the intercoastal. The service eas excellent and the food was great. Fresh fish! I would go back! more

In addition to the Sunday Brunch Menu. there was the regular menu to choose from. Everything sounded good. In the end I had the Prime Catch Seafood Omelet. It was so good, with plenty of seafood in it. Too much though--I ended up having to take half of it with me. \r \r I will definitely be returning to Prime Catch to try out other dishes on the menu. more
