Primavera Pizza

Cook burned the meatball sub, brought it to table & said they would make a new one. After waiting 20 minutes I took the sub back to the counter & asked how long before the substitute would be ready. The owner said, ""I don't have time to make a new one"". I could not believe what I heard! Absolutly the WORST customer service EVER.! Will NEVER return to this place. more

It seems some people don't know good pizza. This place is a family favorite and I have never once thought the place looked unsanitary or dirty. While the service isn't the friendliest in town, it is far from the worst. Being from Brooklyn, that doesn't bother me in the least. I don't need to know you life story, just keep making great NY pizza and I'll keep coming back. i would rather have a little less fake niceties and more great food brought to my table in a quick time frame. more

I have never had worse customer service in my life. Rude is an understatement. I ordered a slice with feta, and when I got it, the feta had the rankest taste to it. My boyfriend tasted it and agreed there obviously something wrong. I took it to the counter, minus the two bites, and was told there was nothing wrong with it, I shouldn't have eaten half of it, and they can't do anything just because I didn't like it. Not to mention, it is sooo overpriced! We had been there once before, and the pizza is not even that good! Wouldn't have gone back that night but all the other restaurants in White Oak were on a wait and we were starving. more

Lets start with my visit. I walk in and the floor had black mold on it. The staff was totaly rude. Place was dirty, very bad service. The staff also smelled bad. They just sat there and itched their armpits. The bathrooms were SO disusting. They had pee all over the walls and floors. No soap in the dispencers. I was so discusted after seeing the bathroom I just turned around and went somewere else. I read some other reviews and sounds like food is horrible. DO NOT EVEN DARE EAT AT THIS PLACE. YOU WILL THROW UP. more

It was awful customer service very unfriendly and rude and the product wasn't even that good. I will NEVER eat there again. I'll tell all not to eat there either! I asked a question and it was snotty response. Don't charge anything under $3 also. WOW I was shocked and upset...... more

I decided to take my four year old to Primavera Pizza for lunch. First off, the stoner behind the cash register either slept through the customer service video, or was still bombed from drinking the bong juice. He had absolutely NO customer service skills whatsoever. I ordered the lunch special which consisted of two slices and a drink. Of course my four year old is only capable of eating a half of a slice. I was charged almost one dollar extra for ""Sharing""...Are you kidding me? HE'S FOUR!!! Now, onto the food...Can you imagine how a pice of cardboard would taste with a squirt if ketchup on it? That would be a fine delicacy compared to what we had today. You may as well eat dirt! I would never step foot into this dump, if it were the last possible source of food on earth. more

I will spare you my entire ordeal on just how terrbile the service is at Primavera since all the other postings have said it well! The young men that work there are SO RUDE, they don't speak to you during or after your order and LITERALLY slid my plates AND TOSSED my silver ware onto the table. If I didn't have my mother and daughter with me I would have a few words for them! Oh yeah and they messed up my order and tried to blame me...it shouldnt have been to hard to get right since we were the ONLY customers in the place! more

We frequently visit White Oaks Mall and for the first time in four years we stopped in Primavera Pizza. It is now one of our regular spots. I read some of the other reviews and it is obvious someone has a grudge. The place is clean and the guys behind the counter are nice enough and helpful. What is important is the food and it is delicious. I’m retired military and government, as well. Having traveled all over the country, to include NYC, this place is one of the best. Try it and see. I grew up in New York but left many years ago for a career in the military. This is the first time in 30 years I have been able to get pizza where I live just like I had when I was a kid. Thin crust, the right sauce...finally! I don't understand the negative comments; my experience has always been positive. Of course, in an ""order at the counter"" restaurant I don't expect 5 star service, but I go there for the pizza, not the service. If they delivered I'd really be in Pizza Heaven. When this place opened up I used to eat there all the time. Over the last year the service has went completely down hill. The staff have attitudes. They don't care about their customers. Also, I noticed a bad sanitation score. In addition, the food isn't as good as it was when they first opened. Hopefully they will read these comments and improve their service and food. Most Authentic New York Pizza in the Triangle area; also the most authentic NY city service. The staff are basically rude, almost to the point that it seems they try to be rude to be cool. The owner looks and acts like a Brooklyn caricature from Saturday Night Fever. You can expect great pizza, but don't expect great service. Just get your pie to go! The first time I went to this pizza joint I was not very pleased. I walked in the place and I almost slipped on the floor because of all the grease. I then went to order and there was this rude guy standing there. I said I was ready to order and he ignored me and sniffed his arm-pit. I went to go to the bathroom and it smelled like a dead body. I then looked at the sanitation score and it was 89.7 not very good. Then I sat down and waited for my food. It took about 25 minutes for it to come. I took a bite and it taste like a Kristpy Cream donut. I noticed I forgot my cup. I went to ask this worker for a cup. He ignored me again. Then he pitted up a cup and push it into my hands hard. When I got home I looked at the receipt. The idiot charged me $3.00 for a small water. I will never even dare to go there again. more

Greatest pizza in America! Whoever doesn't like it just because of the customer service is just a biotch and if you want real pizza then be a real man and stop bitching that you had to pay 30 cents more for a cup. Ya Nick, the owner is a douche. A self absorbed, egotistical, big mouth douche. But the food is awsome. I get most of it for free anyways. If you are cool to the employees, they will be cool to you and give you cool stuff. OH and just for a tip....DON'T ever leave a tip. Ok, so this place in my opinion has great pizza. I'm from NY and enjoy their pizza. However, where they are lacking is in customer service. The owner rarely smiles, is not engaging and recently when I was there and asking for a fork and napkins, an employee just kind of glared at me like I was putting him out. What's disturbing is that staff tend to exemplfy behavior that they are modeled from their boss OR that they are allowed to get away with. It's an arrogance really. I write this review hoping that the owner reads it because the food it great, but more attention in these areas would surely bring in more customers. For example, putting a tacky hand written sign that telling customers that they don't 'do' to-go cups, or there will be another full drink charge - is NOT customer friendly and sends a message that I would think a business owner would NOT want to send. Don't be so... cheap. The cups and refills on soda cost you pennies - it'd be worth it for happier customers. I will continue to eat there while shopping at Whiteoak, but hope that the attitude of the staff changes and more attention to these little details occur as it would enhance the experience of eating there. Worst service anyone could possibly ever get. And the place was dirty. Not just the place but he employees as well. And the food isn't even worth it. I try to eat here at least once a month. The pizza is by far the best NY style pizza I've had since moving to the area. I've never had a problem with the staff either. Normally when I go, it's just my wife and I. However, I took a large group there (about 10 people including a 2 year old) on a Saturday. Just as always, the staff was very accomodating and the pizza was delicious. more

Moved to NC 3 yrs. ago from NY, heard about primavera's and decided to try it since it is not too far. The few times we have gone there and trust me other then the first time, we were shopping and staving, they by far have the worst tasting pizza I have ever eaten, Domino's taste better and we hate Domino's. The pizza is paper thin, the sauce is tarte and the service is the worse. I have never once been there and saw any of the workers, and the're usually 3-4 of them, look clean, the t'shirt 's are suppose to be white and look a dingy light black, most of them have long hair and look like they haven't taken a shower in days. They are not friendly at all and the owner thinks he's some tough guy from Brooklyn, you should be ashamed of yourself, I would be embarrassed to tell anyone if I were associated w/ this place. By the looks of his wife and pretty little baby, I'm sure his house doesn't look like his place of business. Clean up your act and get some new clean workers that are friendly. This place IS NOT Kid friendly! First of all, the place looks dirty and greasy. The order taker, a guy that appeared in charge, was very rude. I requested the special of two slices of pizza and a drink and he refused to let me order at the special price. I had intended to share part of one of the slices with my little boy (4) and buy an extra drink for him. He told me that he doesn't allow ""sharing"" and would charge me for the two slices individually. I tried to explain to him that my son didn't eat much and I didn't want to pay for a big slice when I knew he couldn't eat it. They guy wouldn't hear it. He made me feel like a criminal or something. Went with friends at about 6 p.m. on a Sunday. Ordered calamari appetizer and salad. Food slow in coming. Salad was lettuce and tomato only. Calamari TOUGH AS SHOE LEATHER -COULD NOT EAT IT, sent it back and expected I could get a replacement of equal value - NOT SO. After long wait the ""manager"" came over to inquire about problem. Said could not give me anything to replace it and no money back. Tried a piece of a friend's pizza - not all that great, can't understand why people rave about it, mediocre at best.
