Pricha Bunya MD PC

I went in to see Dr. Pricha to have a mole removed. I made appointments for 3 family members just so everyone could get checked out. After filing out my paperwork, I gave it to the receptionist (who is the rudest woman I have ever encountered). I then asked when I would be seen, she informed me that they book appointments 3 patients at the same time, and there were 6 people ahead of me. \r Needless to say this did not go over very well. Like most people we had to take time out to go and expected to be seen within a reasonable amount of time. When I made the appointments, no one bothered to advise me of this offices practice of stacking patients for the same appointment. \r I told them all that their time is no more valuable than ours and that they have a lot of nerve expecting patients to sit there for hours waiting on this doctor. This was my first visit, I do not know this doctor no more than any other doctor in this town. We just moved here and wanted to patron local businesses. \r \r Needless to say, we will not be going back. And I am posting my experience hoping to help the next person who has to take off from work and considers going to him. If you decide to still go, take the rest of the day off. This office has no concern for people who do work for a living and have to take personal time off just to go. \r \r They told me this is normal practice and no one else has ever had a problem with the way they schedule. I find that very hard to believe. I have seen other doctors who do not schedule 3+ for the same appointment time. I cancelled all three appointments, and informed them that they had mislead us, and I am sending them a bill for a missed appointment, due to his stacking appointments 3 at the same time. If you are like most of us that have to take time off of work to see a doctor, do not go there, it will take hours to see him, so find another doctor and ask about their appointment scheduling.\r \r Terri Pitts \r more

I am a self pay client. I went in Tue for a rash on my face, chest, and small of my back. The doctor charged me $140.00 with no self pay discount. He spent all of 6 minutes with me, did no scraping or test of any kind and told me it was an allergic reaction (to who knows what...because he did nothing to find out). He wrote me two prescriptions...an oral antibiotic that was $6.00, and a cream that was $208.00!!! AND the cream is Clindamycin and Benzol Peroxide!! (A HUGE RIP OFF!) It is acne medication! I filled both prescriptions that day and began meds immediately. It is Friday afternoon and my ""allergic reaction"" is not only NO BETTER, but it is spreading. I called Dr. Prich Bunyasaranand's office to report the problem. They told me to come in and for $75.00 MORE (an office visit) the doctor would look at it again!!! This guy is inaccurate, unethical, unprofessional, and a basic crook. Beware! more

My family has been using Dr. Bunya for the last 10 years. We drive 1 hour to have the privledge of being seen by such an amazing doctor. There is nothing wrong with his bedside manner. He gives you an honest answer because he cares about people. He won't tell you it's a good idea to have a procedure done if he feels it isn't. My 3 children love him as much as I do. They are now 18, 14 and 13. My 14 year old son just saw him today; we left very happy and thrilled that we had the opportunity to be seen by our favorite Dr. Bunya! He always has the right answer for the problem. He was highly recommended to us and we highly recommend him to others. more

I am appalled at Dr. Bunya and his service to my son. My son wanted to get some moles removed because they were ugly and bothersome and caused other kids to pick at him. Well, Dr. Bunya made him - and us - feel like we were some kind of freaks for wanting non-cancerous moles removed. He made my son feel so ill-at-ease with his poor bedside manner that my son said he'd never set foot in that office again. Talk about insensitivity! If you want someone with an understanding, compassionate heart, run from this office as fast as you can! more

I now live 2 hours away, but if I need a Dermatologist, I will always be willing to make this trip. This man is one of those increasingly rare and precious medical professionals who genuinely cares about his patients. Having control over his own practice, he isn't forced to limit his time with his patients so that you feel impelled to talk as fast as you can before he has to run to the next one. Not only is he truely empathetic and considerate of your personal situation, he will go the extra mile for you if needed. Though he performs many cosmetic services you can find everywhere, he's better qualified than most, but charges much less the long run. He's an artist when he treats you with Restalyn or the laser, etc. I could not rate him highly enough, as Dr. Bunya is off the top of the charts.
