My intention for leaving a review here is so that I can help others who are deciding to use Prescott Transit Authority to avoid an experience such as mine.
I was scheduled to leave Phoenix at 830 and per Prescott Transit Authority Policy they do not leave until a quarter till the hour. I find this to be reasonable. What is not acceptable however is opting to wait 35 additional minutes for one passenger and in turn making 8 passengers who were on time (myself included) wait. I will inform you that there was another shuttle leaving an hour after our final departure time so the late customer would not have been stranded at the airport. So rather than making the one person who was extremely late wait for the next shuttle, Prescott Transit opted to make 8 loyal customers wait some 50 minutes for a customer who eventually never showed up. What this resulted in was upon arrival to Prescott some 45 minutes after what should have been our original arrival time, 4 regular customers were stranded at the Prescott Transit Authority's station on Sheldon St. Now don't get me wrong I understand this is not a perfect world but what further upset me about this whole situation was the outcome of my conversation with the owner John the following day. I explained the situation to John and the severe inconvenience this caused me. To my surprise he was unwilling to refund my $28. I would like to also state that this conversation was not heated. Now I don't really care about the $28 but I do care about the fact that I was stranded for some 45 minutes at their station. I also care about the principle behind such a decision to not refund a measly $28 in exchange for customer retention. John in turn tried to justify his actions in this situation by quoting a bible verse to me. I am not sure how you can use gods supposed word to justify the severe inconvenience of 8 people in exchange for attempting to please one person who 1) was not Jesus 2) never showed up. Don't waste your valuable time.
