It came down to 3 builders for our dream pool. We liked the design by premier the best. We felt that their warranty was lacking, whereas the other 2 competing pool companies had lifetime warranties. My wife and I spoke with our salesman and he said no problem, for the monies we are spending a lifetime warranty will be included. So, he added lifetime warranty as the first line in our contract. Because the lifetime warranty was the deciding factor, we signed immediately. Now premier is balking at the contract and is refusing to fix the multiple plumbing issues and or pump issues we are having. We have had multiple problems with premier since we signed our contract, from the start of construction up to this point. 1. bluestaked front yard not back 2. hit main power line in backyard while digging 3. had to redraw pool half way through digging 4. Tried to make us pay for the redesign 5. pool was finished and looked good but had poor startup instructions and or no start up instructions 6. no training on equipment and features 7. it took multiple months and many phone calls before automation was put in and working 8. at least 5 leaks in plumbing between filter pump and filter before being redone and semi fixed and its leaking again 9. multiple pumps went out leaving the impression that they are undersized or used pumps (I am not a pool pump expert), at least 5 pumps that I can recall 10. the initial electrical panel was under sized and had to be changed multiple times to accommodate equipment 11. now they are saying the pool warranty will not be honored as agreed upon in our contract 13. our pool currently has a leak in the same spot as previous, and have 2 pumps that do not work.
