Weird Pets 12/9/2005

If you want to see some prehistoric pets you gotta come here! Prehistoric Park in Fountain Valley has some of the weirdest pets. I been there once and I was freaking out. Big... fat... long... snake in there for you to see and touch. You'll be amazed at the pets they sell in there. They got all kinda of weird turtles too. I can't really describe them. The store is not big but I think it's good size. They got tons of weird pets in there! People are friendly in there to tell you all about each and every pets they got in the store! more

Prehistoric Pets: A Place of History 8/11/2005

Prehistoric Pets is a place where there is a pet store that sells pets that are usually amphibians and reptiles that are just like the prehistoric dinosaurs that once existed in our lands. I bought a pet lizard there and they gave me a warranty for the pet to live. I thought the service was great. The employees there were not scared of the animals and they gave great advice in keeping the animals alive. more

If your kids are into reptiles, Prehistoric Pets in Fountain Valley is the place for you. Prehistoric Pets does not charge an entry fee and is more of a Pet Store than an attraction. As you walk in you will see a large pond with turtles and koi fish. For around $2.00 you can buy a container with live worms and a pair of tweesers. You will be able to feed them to the fish and turtles. It is cool to watch the fish jump out of the water to get your worm. Be careful you can get wet! There is every type of snake you can think of. From small one kept in tanks at the counter or HUGE ones that are bigger than most cars!! If you need a unique birthday party idea. They offer inexpensive party packages, complete with a show that will teach you about the reptiles and they will bring many out for you to touch. They have private party rooms. Bring your food and cake and have a blast! more

One of a Kind! 8/7/2005

This petstore offers a FREE look at every kind of lizard and snake you can imagine. They display huge catfish and turtles in a flowing pond towards the front of the store. You can even feed the fish and turtles live worms for about $3.00. They offer birthday party packages, with demonstrations of the reptiles along with opportunities for the children to get hands on experiences with the animals. There is also a party room in the back. Our family thought this was better than our local zoos! more
