Their professional automotive knowledge 11/24/2012

Have used Preferred Auto since I bought my car new in 07 and they have been the only ones servicing it. Only used Toyota Dealership once to satisfy a recall. Service at Preferred has always in all respects been exceptional. more

QUALITY SERVICE 11/20/2011

We had just moved to the area and had hard time finding a trustworthy repair shop. We had tried couple other shop in area with no luck,then a co-worker mentioned Preferred Auto and we could not have been happier. They diagnosed our hard starting problem that no one else including the dealership couldnt fix. Great Garage you can trust 9/18/2011

I have always had my father fix my car when there was anything wrong (as he grew up working in his father's garage & junk yard and worked as a mechanic all his life). However, now I live 2 hours from the garage and 3 hours from where he lives, so I have to pay to have my car worked on...so I needed to find a garage who knew what they were doing and that I trusted not to take advantage of a young lady!! more

The Best In TOWN! 8/1/2011

My truck had been stalling out when driving, that is not a comfortable experiance when on the highway . After numerous attempts by other shops and thier inability to fix it. I found Preferred Auto and Tire, the fixed it right the first time. Dean and crew are very friendly and honest. They explain to you what you don't understand, which really helps. I recommend Preferred Auto and Tire to anyone looking for a repair shop on the South Shore. more

Great place to have car service 4/20/2011

After trying many repair shops in the area,I finally found my home for auto service,honest,friendly and convenient. I couldn't ask for more. Dean and his crew go beyond the norm. It is nice to find a reputable place that can service all of my family's car needs. Clean shop and comfortable waiting room make the experience much more pleasing more

The Best Car Service in MA 7/16/2010

I have been bringing my cars to Dean for 17 years, and no matter where I live/work, I will continue bringing my cars here for the excellent service and fair prices. I used to live and work on South Shore, but now that I live in Boston and work on North Shore, getting my car to Weymouth is not always convenient, but it's worth it. I know I can trust him to tell me what needs to be fixed and what can wait. And any time my car requires a couple hours or more of work, they will drive me to Starbucks so I can get my work done or if longer than a day, they will have rental car delivered to me on-site. Also, as a long term customer, they always fit me in last minute if something needs to be looked at immediately. I wouldn't go anywhere else for car service. Pros: Excellent service Cons: none more

First but deffinetly not my last time here 5/17/2010

i just had to share, i just moved to weymouth and was leary of finding a new shop for servicing my car but luckely i came across preferred auto felt very welcome and comfortable as soon as i walked in. i asked a tons of questions, hours,prices,specials just so ill know and dean was very accomadating and explained everything to me. had my car serviced the same day they founf my brakes very low which i dreaded but price was very reasonable (i shoped around) and they took care of me.. deff is my location now and very happy that they were so pleasent. Best service ive found 5/17/2010

This is my second time servicing my vehicle here, location,price and understanding to my needs were completed with such care that was purely amazing. Especially being a women and having some automotive knowledge, never once did i feel overpowered or as you would say "taking for a ride". They took the time to explain things to me that i was not familiar with and also showed me the problem of my vehicle, some shops don't take that extra step to do so. I deffinetly found my service center and with all they offer,mechanical,body, detailing and evan some auto sales, deff feel at home, deff check them out . We have had our cars serviced with preferred auto for many years and have always got fair pricing and great service. their extended hours have been very helpful. the staff is pleasant and the waiting room very comfortable. Taking my car here for years 11/19/2009

I started going to Preferred cause they were right next to my work, but kept going because they always treated my car well. I have taken the last 4 cars I have owned there, and even asked Dean to help me choose what to get! Their recommendations are on the money, and very helpful. I found preferred many years ago,have had many different cars over that time,and dean and his crew has always kept all of them in the best running shape as possible. my toyota was rejected for emissions at an other shop brought it to preferred they took it right in and gave me a ride home they diagnose the problem to be evap canister they installed canister and my car was fixed the first time thanks to preferred and its staff Pros: garage hours are great and great prices. fixed first time Cons: none more
