I am experienced with cars and I have found it very hard to find a good AND honest mechanic in Baltimore, since I moved here. I finally gave this place a try for one of the more complicated issues. The issue with my car was a complicated sensor computer issue and I knew it might be a hassle. The owner worked with me on price, they kept good communication about timing, and they were honest about the work/parts. My car seems to be running well now and I plan to take it back to them in the future. Pros: honest, on time, good communication, flexible, and able to fix a complicated issue. I had used this particular Precision tune for almost 5 years. I had thought they were quite satisfactory. There had been times that the work done was not satisfactory(radiator hoses, transmission), or complete (window and door assembly, transmission, brake), but they were usually quick and good natured about taking my car back and completing the job. The owner is very good natured, and so are the majority of his staff and crew.\r They lost me when I had lost my job and I needed to repair my car so I had purchased some needed parts and I had contracted this Precision Tune to install them. The installation was fine, but when I looked at the bill I noticed that they had charged me an extra two hours of work! Over $100 extra!. I'm not sure if they had noticed that I was timing them but I was because I was paying by the hour. Well the owner wasn't there and the shifty manager wouldn't remove the hours he had stolen from me. i left my car for wheel alignment but they have added additional things stating need to replace. i don't know whether my car needs replacement of those indeed. the cost is higher 20-30% compared to other reliable service. the guarantee of their service is not promising more
