I am writing about how happy Mom and I are with our new "replacement" furnace that Precision installed early summer. Not only has it so far ran impeccably in tune with our new thermostats, it is also so quite and effective and not a bit flaky or troublesome like the previous one. And the installation process was an inspiration to witness! Thank you for going beyond the call of duty to make good on a decade old issue. I have told many people how wonderful you were to do that and many have replied; "well, that's what you can EXPECT with Precision Plumbing." You have a good reputation around Boulder! Our heater broke on the coldest day of the year and Precision Plumbing came to our house, quickly figured out the issue, had the part needed for repair in his truck and got our heater running within an hour. We had called a few other heating contractors before we got in touch with Precision and they couldn't guarantee they would have the right parts and might need to come back, blah blah, so we were happy Precison got it fixed so quickly. Courteous, prompt and reasonably priced. These guys were such a pleasure to work with after the nightmare experience I had with Power Rooter - that "plumber" broke my kitchen water turnoff and had the audacity to say that it would cost ME $250 to get it fixed. I pointed out that he broke the turnoff (and did not even identify the cause of the problem) and he said that it didn't matter, I would still have to pay for it. Oh, and he couldn't even identify the main turnoff which was right next to the water heater where it usually is. I have serious doubts about whether he is qualified. Needless to say, I didn't use his services and called Precision instead. Their guy showed 10 mins before the appointed time, fixed the problem in 15 mins (and no it wasn't related to the broken turnoff at all), and showed me what to do in case it happens again in future. If that had been all, it would just cost me $59 for the callout charge, but I had to pay another $200 to fix the turnoff that the Power Rooter guy broke. - Adster N. more
