Outstanding AC service! 5/24/2011

I LOVE this company. They came out on an emergency basis when my AC stopped. They spent an entire day installing new equipment. They never stopped for lunch or breaks until the job was complete. VERY impressive! And they came to Wimberley when others would not. ! more

Excellent Response and Customer Service 4/21/2011

Our business Air Conditioner system failed unexpectedly this week. We called Precision and they promptly came to the office and determined that our 23 year old system had kicked the bucket. Joe Strazza of Precision determined that our system had froze up and that we had a leak in the freon line as well as other issues. The old system had accumulated a significant amount of water and had began leaking badly. \r Joe gave us a fair quote for a new system and we had their crew install a new Carrier Heat Pump. The crew worked diligently to pull out the old system and install the new unit. We appreciate Precision's work ethics and integrity and their promptness to fix our issue. I would recommend Precision for your A/C& Heating needs and I will continue to use them goinf forward. more

PROBLEMS BEFORE WORK EVEN BEGAN!!! 4/21/2011

This company just wasted half my day and eventually said that they will pass on the service call!! I am a condo owner and the HOA requires proof of insurance before they let AC repairmen on the roof. I asked the girl at Precision to fax them proof of insurance, and she asks me ""what kind of insurance?"" ... well, obviously not your personal health insurance. I asked her to call and talk to the HOA management company directly and she refused. After playing phone tag for half a day, I provided Precision with the fax number and the details of what insurance info they needed to send. What do they do in the end? They pass on the service call!!! These people do not want money, apparently, and are not willing to go out of their way to help their customer. more

Fast and Great Service 4/21/2011

I called them yesterday evening and they had someone come out today to do the work. The tech was great, honest about expectations, and worked fast. I highly recommend and will use them again in the future. more

This company knows service and how to get the job done. We received service on the same day we called and on our schedule. The service technician was knowledgeable and polite, we never felt pressured to purchase something we didn't need. The next day we had a crew at our house installing two new units and working hard until the job was done. Great job!! more

Wow. Emailed on a Sunday morning, got a call about 20 minutes later, a couple hours later they came out and diagnosed the problem. Monday morning at 10am Drew & crew were there ready to install, by 11 I had nice cool air flowing through the house. Yup. All of that happened within 24 hours. Nice job guys!! more

Professional and willing to work for your business 3/30/2011

On a Thursday night recently my entire A/C unit went out. After sleeping the night with the windows open and the fans on I awoke and started calling HVAC companies. I was scheduled to go out of town Friday afternoon for the weekend for a wedding Saturday, so needless to say time was of the essence. After calling several companies only one was able to come out that day (albeit several hours later). Then I stumbled upon Precision. I called at 4pm on Friday and had a technician at my house by 5. He was very professional, and explained what would need to be done to replace the unit. This particular system that was being replaced was 20+ years old, and the technician was very knowledgeable about the updates that would have to be done to bring a new installation up to current code. He was also VERY willing to work with me on price and was actually able to beat the other estimates I had received. Best of all he was able to schedule an installation for 8am the next morning, enabling me to make the Saturday wedding. The installation crew showed up promptly (more promptly in fact than the person who I had house-sitting for the weekend) and were very polite and professional. When I returned on Sunday everything was installed and there was no sign of mess. Bottom line: I called at 4pm Friday and had a crew installing Saturday morning. On top of that the customer service and professionalism was top notch, and the price was as good or better than others. I'm extremely satisfied and have no hesitation at all recommending Precision to anyone looking for HVAC service or replacement. more

amazing example of what AC companies SHOULD be 3/28/2011

I have lived in Austin Texas for 25 years, and have had experience with working with a few HVAC companies over the years. I fully understand that there are parts of my heating and air-conditioning system that are just going to break down over time but I have NEVER had an experience as good as the one that I had with the great folks at Precision. My AC compressor had a short that made it inoperable and when I checked on Twitter and asked my friends about AC repair recommendations in Austin, I had a couple of very close friends tell me that it would be a mistake not to call Precision Heating & Air. \r \r I called at 7am on a Saturday morning, and they had a service technician (Nick) to my house by 8:30 that morning. He showed me where the issue was instead of just telling me that there was something wrong with it and gave me options toward getting it resolved that best suited my wants and needs. I decided to replace the entire system with a Carrier Infinity system. I felt good about my investment because it was made clear that Precision is a Carrier ""factory authorized dealer"", and that the factory itself actually backs Precison's work. \r \r The install crew (Drew and Obie) arrived on Monday promptly at the time that we scheduled to have the work done. They were very cautious with my belongings in my house and went so far as to put drop cloths over my carpet and clothes, as the attic entrance is in my master bedroom closet. Drew has a vast knowledge of the work that he does and was very accommodating to the many questions that I had pertaining to the work being done. \r \r After the job was done, the work looked great. Because I had my full system replaced and live in the city of Austin, I had to have a city-inspector come check the work that was done. I was blown away when the inspector actually told me that it was some of the best looking work that he'd seen done. The workers made it clear that they take much pride in their work, but it was the icing on the cake to hear an outside source tell me that he could see that they'd gone above and beyond. \r \r 5-star work from 5-star personalities. \r \r more

Dang, there fast. 3/25/2011

I called at 1pm when our A/C stopped working. The owner Joe said he would get someone out right away to start working on it. Nick Uzer showed up 20 minutes latter and started diagnosing our problem. Turned out to be a motor. How he just happened to have the motor we needed on his truck is beyond me. Nick -a true professional -had in fixed and cooling with in 50 minutes. Amazing...we are so glad our business called Precision Heating and Air. more

Very Professional Service! 3/25/2011

Last night our air conditioner broke. We were sweating all night. I called Precision Heating & Air this morning (Friday). I expected them to tell me that they could not service our air conditioner until Monday. I was pleasantly surprised! The gentleman I talked to was friendly and helpful. Nick Uzer was at our house by lunch time. He got right to work. He found the problem quickly. We discussed what needed fixed and the cost and he was done in under an hour. He was polite and answered all my questions. Nick wanted to make sure I understood what was wrong with the air conditioner, what needed fixed and he gave me some extra information about the unit as well. He was very knowledgeable and patient. We will definitely use Precision Heating & Air whenever we need help with our heating and cooling systems! more

After a stuffy 2 days without air conditioning, we finally called Precision Heating & Air who promptly sent Joe to our house despite it being 9:00 pm! Joe was so nice and courteous and after clearly explaining the problem (in lay terms) he set out to fix the issue that very night! He was very upfront about costs and helped us understand our specific problem should it happen again. Even though it was almost 9:30 pm, he was cheerful when he told us he had to run to the store to buy parts. Poor Joe didn't leave our house until almost 10:45 pm! We began to feel our cool air immediately! What a relief! Joe is a true, caring professional. We know who to call if we have any other problems in the future! more

After discovering our ac had gone out during a warm night we called Precision at 8am on a Saturday morning. Joe gave us a time window (within 3 hours of the call) and showed up by 10am - brilliant. \r Joe discovered our issue and went around town getting the parts we needed despite the Saturday traffic. Joe fixed it all and our house got cool again by 2.45pm! Thanks for great service and good value - we will be able to have a good nights sleep tonight. Joe was courteous, professional and was open about timing, costs and what he was doing. Should it happen again we know who to call. more

We were looking for a company that could fix our air conditioner and give quality service at a fair price. Nick and Joe came out early this afternoon and were very professional and friendly. They evaluated our system and gave us several options to fit our budget. A few hours later Nick and Drew showed up to make the needed repairs. We are very pleased, not only were they both very professional and friendly, they worked efficiently and had the work finished and cleaned up in a relatively short amount of time. I highly recommend Precision Heating and Air and we will use them when we are ready to put in a new ac system. more

4/21/2011-Called Precision a few weeks ago and requested to have Joe come and do a check up on our AC as he fixed our Heater in February and was real nice and professional. On April 11, 2011 Joe called and could not make it but sent Nick to do the job and he was very thorough with his recommendations and findings. He stayed over 3 hours to help us with our decisions. We decided to have a Carrier Infinity installed. On 4/15/11 Drew and Obie came to install the systems. From Joe, Nick, Drew to Obie, they all were on time, very friendly, professional and patient with any questions. We would reccommend them to anyone and have already done so. After a week, we love our a/c! more

This man (Joe Strazza) walked into a hornet's nest of wiring problems and something that others could not solve in three years of trying. It took Joe two visits. After completely rewiring the system there were so many symptoms he could not be sure, explained this but told me his gut was that the system was in such a bad state (from a wiring perspective) experience told him it was likely the problems would be solved. This was just before the worst freeze in 10 years. \r \r After Joe's repairs the system ran flawlessly where it was a block of ice for three seasons running at far more friendlier weather conditions. On the eve of the second wave of low temperatures the system went down again at 6 PM on Friday night. Even thought it had to be 8 PM before his arrival Joe came out to help. After some head scratching, refusing to be satisfied with switching out parts (trial and error) Joe looked harder. He found a system fault that only malfunctioned on occasion because of the nature of it hidden deep inside the outside unit, the problem others had me spend serveral hundred dollars on over three seasons but never found...\r \r Although I asked repeatedly, Joe took no money and told me he felt he should have found the issue on his first trip. If this is not a picture that shouts - Trustworthy, Skilled, Persistent... I don't know what is...\r \r Thanks Joe! more
